Out of State Season Ticket Holders

Want to see if anyone else is in the same boat here.

I have had season tickets since graduation 7 or so years ago, 4 of those years I have lived in the northeast, but have still kept my season tickets, solely as a way of supporting the school, I have then sold off the tickets I can not go to (usually go to a game or two a year plus the big road games) to other canes fans.

This year, I am torn of what to do. I love what Manny has done with the program so far, but at same time the home schedule is horrendous, I will be in Orlando, and don't think the home games really have much resale value, and will take a big loss, as tickets get more expensive.

What are others doing?

Investment for the future .... once you give up your seats it will be hard to get them back.

I'm waiting to find 4 tickets to the Louisville game, so if you have good seats, PM me.

I'm in the same situation up here in Columbia. I've only had my tickets for a year though so I will most likely skip the renew this year. Doesn't make sense to drop a few hundred for 1-2 games that'll be around $10 on stubhub (money is tight right now)

Sell leftover tix for whatever you can on StubHub.

That's all you can do. Renew or don't renew. It's up to you.

I'm looking to become a season ticket holder. Retiring soon, and moving to South Florida, WGH. How can I go about getting season tickets...The Hecht Center???

The access to away/neutral site games is always a potential issue too for dropping season tix/Hurricane Club membership. You gotta determine (if you plan on going) what you think the secondary market prices would be for these games against UiF, Baga, ACCCG, etc.

I have two sweet tix in the Club level and they are aisle seats, plus a parking pass (Orange) for all the home games. For the season, it cost me around 2K and that is steep, but I've been a season tic holder since the first year we went to Dolphin stadium. 2 years ago when we busted out 10-0, I was selling my tix on SH and making more than I paid. I would then buy a tic on SH cheap and still go to the game as I had my parking pass still. That year I made $$ on my tix. My ears are still ringing from that ND game. Last year, I didn't make jack because we sucked. When we win, people will pay top dollar even for those undesirable games, at least if they're in the Club. I wasn't going to renew this year, but with all this new juice and coaching changes, I got to. My seats are too sweet not to. If Richt was still here and we had no changes, I would've dropped them like hotcakes. FWIW, I don't buy away games from the school, because I've found that you get better prices and seat location through the other channels. Sometimes you don't get to sit with all the Canes fans, but I want the best seat for the buck. What sucks is, no more tax write off.

Told Son I was not renewing even if you are a student. With all the positive changes you bet your *** I am. I fly down 3 times a year so junior gets the tickets I don't use now. Club Level is a very nice experience. The stadium staff are helpful and courteous. Orange parking for big games is still a zoo unless you get there very early.

Had Richt stayed my wife said go StubHub for one game and we can visit junior. LoL.

Couldn't say it any better. There are some really good home schedules coming up so this season just do the best you can. But I will say if we beat Florida and UNC you will make a killing on those middle season games because the hype will be crazy.

Hitting all the road games, every other year works out well, at Duke and at UNC, easiest games ever for me to get to. Already thinking about the last game at Duke, man if we undefeated, oh yeah.

Never have trouble selling extras on stub hub
Just charge going rate and accept **** competition will resale 4 less... duh ;-)
Never know who may be ranked by game week .. sometimes resale is surprising

I live on the West Coast and have been a season ticket holder (club seats) for very long time. It's mostly to support the program because I can only attend home game a year. Tough to make any financial sense because selling those seats, unless we're playing FSU or a team like ND is hard.

I did the same til a few years ago, seeing empty stadiums because of so many out of state season ticket holders not showing up. I just donate to the school instead now.

I keep my season tickets because I love my seat location. I fly down from Maryland for a game or two (FSU and Pitt this past season) and hit some roadies (Toledo and UVA). It's my break from the real world for a few days (week for FSU). I am looking at hitting UF, at FSU, at Pitt and Louisville next season. Maybe sneak in one more home game in the 5 game stretch, UVA or VT possibly.

I just buy them every year. Don’t give it much thought. I should give away the games I don’t go to which is most. But nobody asks. 🤷‍♂️
