Out-Coached & Exposed

You knew a Brohm coached team would be swinging for the fences from the get go-

On that FG everyone knew it was going to be a fake-Everyone except Mario and our defense-

Brohm proved his worth the whole night constantly one step ahead of us-

DC English owned us as well-

Brohm>>>>Mario.

We have historically, at least since 2002 come into games where the talent level was close, maybe we're more talented, but we get outplayed by a scrappy team that has a chip. As someone mentioned in another thread we can get up for big games, but games that should be big for us, our players have a laissez-faire, flippant attitude. Such as GT and Syracuse LY.

He made one horrendous decision after another. I'm sick of it. Stop blaming the coaches for our players being ******* MORONS.
People are assigning blame to the coaches because you can predict what we're gonna do just based on formations and tendency. We aren't multiple with our sets to keep the defense guessing, and we're not creative in our run scheme at all. Beck threw terrible picks and wasn't taking what the defense gave him, the penalties were absolutely back breaking, yes, but let's not act like dawson/mario/mirabal were putting the team in the best position to succeed. This isn't just a Louisville issue either, but Brohm and the DC did their homework on our offense and we did nothing to keep them off balance.

Coaching and talent evaluation will always be the foundation. NIL hasn’t changed shii, but make coaching and talent evaluation even more important. Cristobal has been here for 4 years and we still haven’t had a skill player that can take the top off a defense.

The cavemen mindset is killing us. If Travis Benjamin was on this team Mario and Co would have him rotting away.

I agree.

Can you show me the drives - in any game this year - where we ran up the middle three times and then punted?
Early in second half (it’s a blur now), we started somewhere like the 10, opened with an offsides call, ran into the middle like twice, and either did it a third time or had a ****** incomplete pass to a covered receiver, then punt. Either way, pathetic.

Our QB threw 4 interceptions. He lost us the game. Stop blaming the coaches.
Our QB is sending drunk ducks downfield because that’s the only way this team moves the ball now. Coaches have figured out that 8 beats 5 every time.

IMO fsu figured us out and a good coach took notice.

FSU dared us to throw and we did with some success. But not to the level you would want an elite qb and receiving corps to do so. Especially when fsu’s db are ahss juice. We haven’t seen any of our receivers have the ability to beat outside man coverage and dominate.

Data has shown that Carson is below average under pressure. They also knew one other thing.

WE HATE RUNNING OUTSIDE!!!! AVOIDING IT LIKE WE ARE ALLERGIC TO IT.

It’s mind boggling. It’s a or b gap. What fsu and Louisville did is let the linebackers worry about the run on those gaps and squeeze the d line in just as tight as our o line.
Name one dlineman on Louisville besides their d end?
We got stopped by nobodies with an oline with at least 3 nfl players on it.
It’s not hard when you know what’s coming. But Mario talked about rat poison but his ego didn’t listen. You can be talented and disciplined. But if I know what’s coming and where it’s going your talent gap decreases dramatically.

It’s also obvious that while Tony is an alien, the rest of the receiving group is human and average at that.

It also shows that Tony isn’t Bell and we don’t have anybody on our team that’s a true number one outside threat that can bully a db.
If we had just 1 true alpha outside threat day one draft receiver with speed and strength, this team is on another level.

Anyone can go back and watch Louisville’s games this year and know that our dline was gonna be a non factor. No dlineman can get to the qb in 2.5 seconds while being blocked. They have plays where the ball is out in less than 2.
How do you not know you were gonna get dinked and dunked and shallow crossed all game long.

Brohm also knew that we do not have an explosive offense. We do not have the qb nor the receivers to come back on a team in the 4th if we are down big.
We also don’t have a qb that can extend the play by either scrambling for the first down or elusive enough to find the open man.
Fatal flaw to not be able to get J Smith, or any other elite portal or elite HS outside threat.

Sorry but:
We got the wrong qb. End of story. He’s been efficient and successful but he’s not the guy you trust when the game is on the line. He isn’t the guy that can win it himself and/or our system of running into everybody doesn’t help him.
This isn’t “he had a bad game”.
We were told by Uga fans that this is who he is when pressured and voila!! They weren’t lying. People on here were torched when they pointed out that he makes bad decisions and it caught up with him.

I was told from the gossip circle at greentree that Moore is that guy.
Well either the coaches don’t know wtf or it’s all hype like everyone else in the past 20 years not named Richards or Tony.

Is it the end of the world? No.

But not recognizing that our dline was gonna be a non issue is concerning. Why? Because idk sht about football and saw it a mile away.

This offense is built to hide the receiving deficiencies and run clock because it can’t dig itself out of a hole. We haven’t let our foot off the gas in the previous games. We just haven’t been able to score enough to choke them out.

Anybody that’s watched or played this game knows that a team can comeback quickly especially when they have talent.
Not scoring a lot points has nothing to do with holding back. That’s orange and green glasses talk.
This offense is just constipated and simple to figure out.

The coaches better get in the lab.

The stubbornness on offense is nauseating. It was painfully obvious how operating out of our bunch and tighter formations & splits was playing right into Louisville’s hand and what they like to do and are good at on defense.

This was the game to go unbalanced and/or live in 11 personnel or even 12. We seemed to have game plans for ND, Uf, fsu, **** even USF. But not ******* Louisville. Square peg round hole. Credit to Louisville for making the plays that were there but our offense played into their hand for 4 quarters starting at pre snap. Egregious ****.

Our QB threw 4 interceptions. He lost us the game. Stop blaming the coaches.
I'm normally on your side, but I gotta straddle the fence with this, brother.

After thinking it over... we could've had Mendoza. ****, Mendoza's dad and Mario was supposedly close.

But..... 🤦🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️😂

But, I know, the coaches didnt throw 5 INTs (stat line says four, but one called back), that ****** gameplan was the runs.

Before the fake FG, I was yelling at the TV, watch out for the fake FG! The only ones in the stadium and watching it that weren’t aware of the fake FG were Mario and the rest of our corching staph. Unbelievable!

Miami offense is like Coach Boone in Remember the Titans.

“I run 6 plays, split veer(insert our playbook) like novocaine. Just give it time, it always works.”

I don't know if the play calling is affecting the players, but if we're frustrated, you kinda have to assume some/all of them are too. **** is maddening.

: play comes in :

Really? Again? Alright, **** it I guess...

Trying to think… when was the last time UM beat a team with a decisive schematic/gameplan advantage the way Louisville won last night?

Not just out-talenting an opposing team… beating them with a legit gameplan advantage?

And Brohm said he seriously considered faking the kick at the end....

Louisville had three QBs - Miller Moss, Brady Allen, and Deuce Adams - all on the field lined up in a trips formation to the right on the very first play of the game last night. Jeff Brohm explaining the 'Three Amigos' formation . .

. "I had to convince our offensive staff, I said the first play of the game, I am going to put three quarterbacks on the field. They said, 'What is that going to do?' I said it's going to make Miami think. We wanted to make them think and not just be completely by the book."
