Quality at some positions is definitely better, but we've still got plenty of "needs."
I agree. But if that's a 7 win team, we're ****ed in 2024.
That offense loses a WR, LT, C, RG and probably QB.
The secondary loses Couch, Roberts and Brown, and the D-line loses 2/4 of the DT they have listed.
We'll also probably lose Mesidor to draft. Maybe Kam too. Which will suck because we have exactly one backup safety listed as it is. We already have to hope there aren't any targeting calls.
Let's be real here. Would J-Will leaving early really surprise anyone? Whether or not Williams is making a mistake is irrelevant. He's exactly the type of player we've watched leave early year after year.
Then there's the schedule. We play @ UF, @ Clemson, @ Notre Dame, and @ Louisville. FSU is home. Just for ***** and giggles, we'll probably land a Thursday night road too, since those games always go so well.
Anyway, if this is a 7 win team with the schedule we have this year and a 2 deep full of upperclassmen, wtf is next year going to be like?
Still not deep enough
WR been discussed ad nauseum. We know we need portal help. At corner we desperately need one of the younger guys (graves, harris, damari, stafford) to step up immediately to help Davonte. I definitely think nyjalik will surpass Harvey and one of those 3 freshman d ends will get reps.If Porter starts on the outside we are fvcked, lol. I know it’s just a speculative depth chart though.
I mean we already knew what we have, seeing it on paper is a bit sobering though. WR room is very underwhelming (again, we know that), which is why this OC hire is so, so important. Would be nice for Kelly to surpass Harvey and give us an every down legitimate pass rush from one side.
Robby, Ray Ray and CJ Jr get a ton of burn if we get a creative OC.If Porter starts on the outside we are fvcked, lol. I know it’s just a speculative depth chart though.

I really hope Ray Ray is at minimum our day 1 punt returnerRobby, Ray Ray and CJ Jr get a ton of burn if we get a creative OC.
Really would like to see George overtake Ladsen...either way huge lack of playmakers...also would love to somehow bring Singletary in at that other CB spot...Skinner as backup TEThat WR depth chart makes me sick
Was this confirmed? I know it was mentioned he was going to but any list of official transfers I've seen posted has not listed him and I never saw any announcement on itno you are correct- he gone
Doubtful that Arroyo will know how to use them….Robby, Ray Ray and CJ Jr get a ton of burn if we get a creative OC.
I think Roberts starts in that spot all day long. Just a matter of some practices. If Porter starts on the outside we are fvcked, lol. I know it’s just a speculative depth chart though.

We've seen 2 full portal cycles already. I wouldn't put much stock into that becoming a strength even though everyone here always loves the portal players. Elite high schoolers seem more likely so we need at least 2 more classes. One year at a time playa, lol. We have a good season and show some life and our portal luck could look a lot different in a year which could help a ton in 24.

Yes, playmaker for sure. Hoping ball security is excellent as a younginI really hope Ray Ray is at minimum our day 1 punt returner
Ourlads has the depth chart too.LINK
Pretty good site it you are interested in these things. Most have been updated in the last week

Yes, ball security is definitely paramount but we gotta start to generate explosive plays on specials to help our O & D. Both of the freshmen wideouts & C. Johnson have that capability.I had Robby Washington penciled in there the second he committed. Ray Ray would also be a great option if they can handle the ball security aspects.
Just happy we have 2 explosive play makers to consider.
