I'll take Wiggins upside every day of the week though...Harley is what he is. Williams is very raw and has to work on his hands, but there's major potential there.

Our receivers definitely seem *****-made out on the field, but I cant I blame them for having to play in this offense and get thrown to from Malik for a year and half.

They have to run the routes their given.

Its obvious that theres no accountability for the countless dropped balls either. From either coaches or players. It seems like CMR has instituted a policy where he doesn't want the players to "police each other."

There's also the fact that they are constantly rotated in and out. Every play has receivers rotating. Why? I have to imagine its because CMR promised some of the young ones playing time, and fears that they'll transfer if they dont play, while CMR wants to play the seniors because of their experience.

Who were the last four top rated receivers we had enroll?
Richards, Mullins, Bruce, Thomas

What happened to those four?

Why would you want to play receiver on this team?
 
I made a thread stating the exact same about 7 games in to the season and i got downvoted to ****. Everyone just blamed Malik and OL and said WR's are great.

And now everyone finally realizes the truth...
 
the only thing our receivers do well consistently is run block and it's **** good for the most part. everything else is ehh but part of that is that the 3 idiot co-offensive coordinators we have aren't using their skill sets properly so they of course look worse.

Overrated by whom?

We have a bunch of frosh, harley was not a top 15 recruit, and cager was ranked lower, at 25 on rivals. Njoku was ranked 90th at wr when he signed.

If you think they’re overrated, you’ve been listening to fans, not watching the ratings.

Cager actually has legit talent. Being 6'5, he has good quickness and gets open. His hands are just terrible and seems weak mentally. Honestly i compare him to Leonard Hankerson his junior year, couldnt catch a cold. Hankerson then spent all offseason working his *** off with Mark Duper and had a huge senior year. Got drafted and played on the redskins cashing checks for years. Will see if Cager has the work ethic & dedication to improve or if he just coasts into his senior year as the same player...

Wiggins gets open but cant catch. Also needs to add size. Should have redshirted. Baffles me he starts, has no business playing

Harley has a limited ceiling and his hands suck too. End of his sophomore year and i cant remember a single deep ball he has caught. Not even a poor mans Dorsett at this point, let alone poor mans JT. Kid seems tough though so hopefully he puts in the work. Could see him breaking out late in his career like Braxton did

Hightower I legit like. Strong and tough. Looks a step slow though

Pope doesnt look anything like a 5 star. Tiny and cant get open. Looks 2 years away honestly.

Ezzard seems like the tough possession receiver we need. Came in the fall late, should just redshirt and come ready next season

Njoku has talent but needs more time to develop. Worse case he replaces Langham as our jump ball guy. Hoping he becomes like Tommy Streeter (junior year) though. Could be good in time

One add'l point ill mention - the WR group has ZERO LEADERSHIP. Losing AR82 hurt bad

Overrated by the board who said we had one of the deepest and best WR groups before the season started (including myself). Also most if not all of these kids were 4 stars
