Our WR’S Suck !!!!

Only thing to disagree with is the interior concern. We'll be fine up the gut. However if the tackles can't develop real quick and brevin or will can't contribute as well the pocket will never be able to develop the way lashleee wants. He's gonna always try to extend the play. To push the pocket. If the edge doesn't hold up then we'll king won't get outside. Hence **** be taking alot of hits and rushing throws... Same thing our last few and had happened. Wonder if it'll be the same narrative that the last three had and king will take the blame from everyone like the others did. People really don't comprehend how much it hinders qb play when he's getting pasted 2 out of 4 downs throughout.
gotcha, I was drinking a lot and my eyes are slanted, so maybe I'll have to watch the game again. But this L'Ville game will be telling. It's such a swing game, it will really tell us what we might be capable of becoming this season.

I really think it's time to see if J-Payton can be a WR that can be counted on more...

LOL, that was rhetorical!!!

Where have you gone Bill Miller!!!
Which Bill Miller? We had Bill “Brownie” Miller, consensus UM A-A WR in about ‘60. Later caught two TDs probably from Daryl Lamonica to set a Super Bowl record for number of TDS in a Super Bowl. Probably Super Bowl II or III, don’t remember. Played for the Raiders and Bills. One of our all-time greats before the ‘80’s came along.

Then we had a Bill Miller, QB as I recall—mid to late-60’s.

Only other Bill Miller I recall was Barry Goldwater’s 1964 running mate. His daughter is Stephanie Miller, a comedian and liberal talk show host. Opposite politics from her father.

EDIT: Oh, yeah. Our DC under Butch until he was fired. He had to fire his friend, but Butch was tough. I think that Bill Miller was a LB coach at FSU last I heard.

I’m glad I’m not in coaching. It is one tough profession. Your kids keep changing towns and schools. Probably tougher than the military in how often you have to change, or at least just as tough.

And then you have to put up with fans....fans that don’t know 1/100th as much as the guy they want fired, complain incessantly and fly banners behind airplanes calling for your head....work crazy hours....remember calling Kehoe at home in the late ‘80’s probably after 10pm. Art was rooming I believe with former UM OL John Canei and I think it was John’s girlfriend who answered the phone. She said Art would roll in around 11 pm and collapse on the sofa he was so tired. And I am pretty sure Art was assistant to an assistant coach, Tony Wise. I left a message for Art. Didn’t want to bother him when he came in so late.

BTW, Art was sick. Anybody heard anything?

Bill Miller -- this one -- was our first DC under Butch Davis. He got let go after our defense got destroyed by Syracuse and UCLA at the end of the 1998 season. IIRC, he went to Michigan St. after

Payton can definitely be counted on. Biggest problem against Louisville I see coming is slowing down the run. But positive energy brother. & Thankfully u made the slanted eye comment & not me. I get enough **** thrown my way.

We can win this game, but it's a litmus test

Now, in my defense -- I do drive better than expected

I hate to have to say it, but I'm not sure bill is still alive. Dude knew defense like no one's business. But that was one old cat. Didn't relate to none of us.

Dee, what did you think of Schiano? I liked his blitz and 3rd down packages, but I was told by one player from your era that he was .... well, not exactly the pleasant guy to be coached by.

Brother c'mon. You know **** well what's going on out there is just blatant incompetence at this point. Our youth is our best hope. That's all I'm gonna say. Better hope the edge holds up for kings sake and our offenses too
We’ve got very experienced RT—I think the biggest problem will be on our left side.

I had a long day on Thursday so I was fighting sleep during the game. They got a heavy pass rush-weren’t they blitzing? I’m going to try to watch the game again this weekend, if it is saved on my HULU.

You’re right. I didn’t see your post. I added that I remembered his firing. I recall that he mentioned that it was too late for him to go to the coaches’ convention to look for a job. He was concerned about the job market but he hooked on with Michigan State. I don’t remember who the HC was there.

Last I heard of him he was at FSU.

Butch also axed the strength coach after the 47-0 blowout by FSU in the late ‘90’s. He said the strength program was a “huge” issue.

Irony is that people hate Digiorno when I think he was an assistant under Schiano at one point. He was trained under essentially the same philosophy that is followed by Schiano and Butch. I guess when he went to Temple, he did what Golden wanted—the old 3-4 that Golden coached under Al Groh at Virginia.

I think Golden might have ruined his buddy’s career which saw him ended up fired at Houston.

I can imagine the words used to describe him far more accurately. But lord was that dude a fvck boy. He was literally barking at you 99.9% of the time regardless of the outcome. Seemed he just wanted to scream like he thought it made him more effective. I used to go back and forth on is this dude like this because we're so young and ****** up. Or is it just cause this dude is a miserable **** sucker. After all my years now I've come to realize it was a mixture of the two.

While we have an experienced rt he has bounced around a lot of I remember correctly. Which is probably the best for us to have some versatility. But it's especially important to recognize his experience only counts for so much based upon the position he plays. If there's other holes in the unit it leads to holes throughout. Cohesion is essential on the line. Cause they all gotta have each other's back. Know each other's tendencies, strengths, weaknesses etc.

Very few in the ACC should be able to cover Wiggins in man. He's so athletically gifted.....he just needs to learn how to run proper routes. His pace and stem concepts last year were not good enough. Not having a spring with a new coach didn't allow much time to improve that.

I really wanted to see Restrepo after the practice reports.

When we grew up and went to school
There were certain teachers who would
Hurt the children in any way they could
By pouring their derision upon anything we did
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids
But in the town, it was well known
When they got home at night, their fat and
Psychopathic wives would thrash them
Within inches of their lives.

Not sure that they suck but they are certainly average Pope, Harley and Wiggins. Play Payton and Redding more please...

Dee isn't the weakness anymore that he used to be. He's definitely the best recievers in that unit as of now. Him and the jits should be the focus.

Yea I was curious as to what Jarren would have done with Lashlee last year instead of Penos?

What the **** are you talking about? Dude is little. He can't stand in the pocket and throw timing throws pass 6'3 - 6'6 dudes.

He needs to roll out, boot, scramble in order to see the passing lanes.

Making **** up? Or are we just watching the game where it's brutally obvious?

Certainly one of the weaker position groups on our team. Hoping for a huge improvement from them starting Saturday night.
