Our schedule suddenly looks VERY VERY favorable

Games Ranked from hardest to easiest imo:
1. ACC Championship Game
2. FSU
3. VTech
4. UNC
5. Pitt
6. ND
7. Everyone Else

OP is right. The schedule doesn't seem as daunting now that we know we aren't facing anybody whose gonna be sniffing the playoffs.

Good god. We win three games and people are talking national championship. We haven't been good enough this millennium to look past anyone. I'm sure FSU will just roll over. We've been outcoached by Duke before. Louisville might be the best team in the country. GTech ran for 400 yards against Richt 2 years ago.

Shall I continue, or are we done with this silliness?

You mean I'm going to Atlanta next week to see GT? ****. I thought it was for the SEC Championship Game since we won the east in another thread by beating App St and our future opponents playing poorly. God damnit Delta airlines, I knew you would **** up my travel plans.

What the f*ck does any of that bullsh*t have to do with this year's team? You are a f*cking idiot.

Better check Vatech schedule. If We lose to them it's over.

Bingo.

The only comfort anyone can pull from the first 3 games is AppSt almost beat a Tenn team that just beat UF. FAU is 1-3, FAMU sucks as a FCS, AppSt is 2-2 with losses to UTn and UM. Sure the team looked better coached but we still haven't played anyone.

Now, if we roll GT by 30 then we can talk top 10 as Clemson didn't roll them by 30.

College football will break your heart. We've played three cupcakes. The conference teams will expose glaring weaknesses at one point or another and we may well lose a few games.

The Gators gained their defensive cred against 3 cupcakes and it all came crashing down on them today.

Curb your expectations a bit...fair warning.

Hard to argue any of that.

Listen good. Football is a game of matchups. I'ma enjoy the weekly being undefeated. Every team presents a different challenge. The team is hungry though, so I'm confident

It's like I said in a post about a week ago - if we go undefeated or close to it in the regular season, that's all CMR needs to pull in a top 5 recruiting class. Then, we'll have the horses for a real run next year or the following.

Nope. We are enjoying the silliness of hope. Al is gone! We are playing Hurricane defense again with some DTs that can play it! We have a good QB! We have a decent HC! Those are the ingredients for Miami success. Have we proved anything yet? Nope, not a frigging thing. But after over 12 years of hoping our kids had enough talent to once again overcome crappy coaching, I am going to enjoy the hope that we have the right mix again until proven otherwise.

If we beat fsu, the future glows regardless of anything else that happens. The impact on recruiting will be so big it cannot be measured. They will be in clear decline and will we finally actually look like we are coming back. What kid would not want to be on a Miami team could be the subject of THE U III?

There really isn't a defense on our schedule that scares me. They all give up huge plays and just can't stop all the weapons we have. We just have to avoid dumb turnovers and stupid penalties and we should be in every game.

Is it too much to think we can ACTUALLY go undefeated now?! ND looks to be pure trash, FSU has no defense, and the rest of the games we definitely have a talent advantage.

WE BACK?!

The big issue we face against FSU is we do not ave a mobile QB. We play the type of offense that suits well for them. Their last 4 losses have come against dual option QB's. Paying a 4-2-5 will not work against an offense like that. It will succeed against a pure drop back passer. Right better have something up his sleeve offensively when we play them to keep them guessing for us to win.
