The green tree bully is all talk until proven otherwiseI think the defense will only become dominant if nesta finally takes the next step and becomes dominant and consistent

Tito Odenigbo played more snaps then Nesta Silvera did his freshman season.Nesta is a Junior man. It's not like he broke his back.

The coaches never expected much from Nesta his first year, 2018 was more of a weight & conditioning year, plus learn pass rushing moves besides bullying high school competition. Just last summer he suffered a foot injury right before week-one as he was named the clear cut starter opposite Jon Ford. Nesta only ascended as one of the very best defensive tackles late into his senior year in high school; Tyson Campbell & Patrick Surtain Jr. were both 5-star corners on the same team. All three might as well have treated every player they lined up against as junior varsity kids.
R.J. McIntosh and Kendrick Norton [Was recruited for the o-line by some] were late bloomers too, more or less. Everyone on this website all talked how no team is going to draft either in the 7 rounds; Guess what? They were both drafted.
Arthur Brown & Bryce Brown were both hands down considered the best at each of their given positions; Their college careers were more like the average 3 star.. Just Miami's program alone has had high school stars that busted with Miami.. How long have you been a fan of Miami football? Watching the condensed 3 to 5 minute highlights doesn't count. So, are you entirely ignoring the fact Nesta played last year? OK... let's just forget about that.
Because success in high school has consistently guaranteed success in college.
Most of our players were very good in high school. Those same players lost to FIU and La Tech.

Marcus Forston, Aldarius Johnson, Ramon Buchanan, Jordan Futch, Arthur Brown; They were all top-5 players at each of their positions, when averaging together every recruiting website/analysts. And they were all apart of the same recruiting class.
Do you base off of your guesses on just the fact you breathed the same air when they were seniors in high school? Your logic is seriously lacking.

You're still only talking about potential. I'm tired of potential at Miami anymore -- it very rarely pans out. We could write a list of 100 Canes players over the past 20 years that had tons of potential and did nothing with it.
The question I posed is what have you SEEN from the DT's to justify the DL as a whole being dominant?
I have yet to see any of our DT's dominate quality competition at the college level.

Not sarcasm; Just because one is a fan since being five years old doesn't mean nothing.. All these other replies you made in response to mine, your clearly acting like Nesta Silvera is a bust already. So, are you entirely ignoring the fact Nesta played last year? OK... let's just forget about that.
