Our S&C

I’m more concerned with the explosion or lack there of w the OL. Not sure if that’s S&C or bad technique, but seeing our OL consistently get pushed in the back field is troubling.

Allen Balley- chest or bicep injury in the weight room. That was the last Miami injury from S&C that I remember.

This. There's a difference between power and strength (think elite athlete vs bodybuilder). We could look the part coming off the bus, but get our **** pushed in by a team equal in size but more powerful.

Understand the difference and you'll stop caring about how we look, and more about how we move on the field.

Scheme and technique certainly play a role, but lack of power and explosiveness is a very easy thing to spot during games.

Couldn’t have said it better.

That 'push' is not in most of the guys up front. Most of them are products and picks of the old crew. We've gotten some good young guys there, not enough, but a few who hopefully are cut from a different cloth.

The only young guy up front is Donaldson who does have the bully attitude but is playing his first games at a new position.

Donaldson gets pushed back a lot. It was evident in that LSU game, as well. I think we’re missing that explosion of strength. See how many missed tackles we have where are players are bouncing off of players.

Its a touchy subject to some but I think Donaldson is more of a downhill guy, he belongs inside.

So you're saying we should just bring back Swasey so he can just in the other room because he's not allowed to coach the kids?

No s&c will ever prevent injuries and neither will it make naturally bad players like mahoney and jones good

I've said it before and I will say it again. There are too many fine honeys in Miami for these boys to focus. To go to a game or practice in the heat after a night or two of you know what is a recipe for disaster!! You are bound to pull a muscle or tear a tendon at some point! LOL The Gayturds, Suckeyes and the fighting Nick Satans do not have this problem! They don't roll like we roll!! LOL It's part of the reason Richt fought so hard for the IPF! LMAO!!

The only thing i see from a medical standpoint talking to some guys that do training for a living is that The team looks stiff.
I literally think the running backs need to limber up.
If you look at the great backs they were all very flexible. Barry Sanders AP and now Barkley have huge legs but very very flexible. It improves he explosiveness pad level and change in direction.
Mark Walton was also very flexible.
If it was me I would implement some yoga.
A lot of mma guys swear buy it and it’s getting more and more popular in the military.

I wonder how much yoga Barry Sanders did.

Mahoney, Jones, Gauthier, St. Louis were born this way. Nothing Felder could do about it.
