That is the raw truth about both programs..

We know it as long Canes .

The good news. Finally, finally.

Miami is circling back. It's been a long time.

We are going to hammer the Bucknuts. If you don't think our knew Canes don't know the history. You are mistaken. They know.

But, it's about now, matchups, players. This game will be a tough fight. Our Trenches will stand with them.

My advice. Hit J Smith hard 1 or 2 quarter and give him gator arms . They will try to go over top on us

We will preserve. Somehow.

It’s weird to me how hardly anyone is talking about Sayin’s youth and inexperience being a factor in this game. We all saw what Indiana’s defense was able to do against them(5 sacks), and now they will be going against the best front seven in all of college football. I really like our chances to hold this Ohio St. offense to 14-20 points, tops. So now, the focus shifts squarely to our offense. Balance is the key. We don’t need Carson to light it up, but we need to make the Suckeyes defense cognizant, and fearful, of the deep ball or they will continue to stack the box. I don’t think people realize how much of a factor the wind was in the last game, and I actually DO think Beck will come out and play a much better game here. For much of the time the spread in this game has hovered near the OSU-10 mark, and I agree with the line, but they actually have the two teams reversed…

We started going in a different direction because of Coker. Didn't have anything to do with the Fiesta Bowl loss. The signs were already showing during that 2002 season.

Yes, that loss hurt, but we were still solid in 03' and 04'. Just too many chinks in the armor to get back to the BCS championship. We were still in the talks late in both those seasons of getting to the championship game. If there was a 12-team playoff back them, we would have made the playoffs both those years. Even in 05' we were ranked #3 late in the season before losing that stinker to GT.

I would say a loss that hurt our program worse was the 05' loss to LSU in the Peach Bowl. That was the *** kicking that sent us from being a good/relevant program to just another mid FBS team.

I agree with a lot of what you're saying.

I honestly do not think Ohio state will get more than 20 points against us.

Now... The challenge is going to be is that if we can score more than 20 points.

And Beck does not need to be hero and he knows that....... we just need to do a balance attack. Over 4 quarters.

It will help my if we can keep it to where the first quarter we're up 3 or if just less than 7 the first quarter.

The longer the game draws out and it's a dog fight I think that favors us.

If Beck wants to prove he is an nfl caliber qb this is his chance. He needs to be accurate and keep the chains moving. I have trust in the defense to not break, but Beck & Shannon need to both be on for us to get a W. Mix up the tempos, be smart but not too careful, and ultimately execute.
