Our program is dead. Period

It's dead because you can only luck into a successful program for so long until it catches up to you. The apathy and disdain the admins have for athletics in general will not allow the program to succeed. You need effort by the admins or at a minimum to hire an athletic director that can make his own decisions.

The school is simply not interested in succeeding athletically. Funny thing is they will never be elite academically so they will simply be just another school.

I agree. Program is finished. Miami is not willing to commit the financial resources to be an elite program. The big boys pony-up 4 million minimum for their head coaches. Miami is still trying to pay half that at the most. They got away with that for decades but its finally caught up to them. Christ, Cincinnati is paying Tubbs 3 million. Ditto Lville for Petrino even after he embarrassed them. If Miami isn't willing to pay that kind of money for a top coach, and there is no sign they are, then RIP Canes football.
 
I don't trust Miami to make the right decisions period. They'll just pay F A G and Doritos more cash

These clowns who run these "pay for" sites on this program (like Sperman) are in for a hard fall and possible bankruptcy. No ones going to pay these idiots money just to here about all the recruits we've lost or Golden's latest F### up.

I dont agree with this, Miami needs a good head football coach, period, it can be the 2 million dollar up and comer, 3 mil riser, or 4-5 mil star, he has to be a good head coach and this becomes a phenomena of its own, whats killing Al Golden is that he cant get to 10 wins and conf ship, he is/was a 10 win season away from this thing going into overdrive, but he just cant
