****. NO. This is the same lazy thinking that got randy and diaz hired as hc.. why cant he get any of 130+ jobs in NCAA if he is such a good oline coach.. both times he has been let go here he has ended up jobless.. that let's you know his skill level at his job..

Our O Line is too garbage too be good. Our coaches can't sell when they evaluate, and can't evaluate when they sell.

Decent topic to discuss. I think there are a lot of teams starting freshmen and having success. I think those teams have guys on the line and in the locker room for the freshmen to lean on and learn from.

Duke has 1 true freshman starting on the offensive line and 1 redshirt freshman. The rest?

Redshirt Junior
Redshirt Senior
Junior

Miami’s elder statesmen starting offensive lineman today is a 350-400 pound Junior who gets railroaded by linebackers he outweighs by well over 100 pounds.

I watched the Ole Miss vs Alabama game the other week. Evan Neal was the only starting freshman offensive linemen for either team. Ole Miss had one sophomore. The rest are Juniors and Seniors (redshirt or otherwise).

The offensive line today isn’t playing anywhere close to its potential or recruiting rankings but let’s not pretend Miami doesn’t have a serious issue at offensive line with regards to leadership and development. The most experienced offensive lineman on this team can’t hack it as the 3rd string center. The next one is horrifically overweight. Traore has more experience as a JUCO than many (most?) guys. The composition of this personnel group is completely screwed today.

Boulware and Mahoney would have started easily against this competition. Before the season they went after Parker Braun (GT transfer guard) and lost out. We are in for some rough games regardless of who the coach is.
