Our OL room is FILTHY

I don't think he was good. I think Rivers was good at that spot and that resulted in him being drafted.
He was probably our weakest starter/regular. It’s not necessarily an insult because our line was generally very good last year. He probably would have been our best lineman on a Manny team. So everything is relative.

Cooper needs to be much improved.
Bell needs to be very much improved.
McCoy needs to be very, very much improved.
Gtfoh!! These dudes balled out! Markel had some early woes but stepped up as he got more experience. Ward had all day to throw last year and would stand in the pocket for days waiting on guys to come open. So much so that some of the sacks were on him. These kids should get better with natural progression and hard work during the offseason

Do you actually watch the games and talk about what you believe you see or do you just come in here and make stuff up?

McCoy was one of the best pass blocking offensive lineman in the ACC and he was by far the best pass blocking offensive lineman for Miami last season. McCoy played 660 offensive snaps in 2024 allowing only 11 pressures and two sacks. During the second half of the season, he allowed only four pressures and zero sacks.

According to both Mario and Mirabal he is now 6-7 330 - 340. He has everything necessary to be one of the top offensive lineman in the nation.

I don't agree.

#8 offensive line.
A top 10 QB.
Several capable backs.
A plethora of young talent at receiver.
The legend of Lofton.
Year 3 continuity in a good system.

Let’s ****.

Offense looking strong and balanced. Trader needs to live up to the promise. If he and Lofton play like they did in the bowl game, we will dominate again.

Two preseason All-Americans on this offensive line is a looooong way from DJ Scaife (no disrespect intended) being the best offensive lineman on the roster.

With this now being their third year playing next to each other, the right side of this offensive line should be very fun to watch.

One of my only real concerns is the slot position. It’s the reason I advocated so hard to push for Pena. Dawson absolutely wears that spot out. Restrepo, Tank Dell, even Arroyo caught many of his passes from the slot. Those whip routes, the MOF, the rubs he runs on the perimeter in the low red area. Restrepo was so, so good for us there. Can we find someone who can even come close to filling those shoes? And if not, does the offense suffer because Dawson is unable to fully adapt to not having the passing offense run through that spot?

I know we’re going to protect well and run the ball well. I know Beck is incredibly accurate. I know we have talented kids on the outside and at TE. What scares the **** out of me is Dawson trying to rely on RayRay or a true freshman to soak up the Restrepo production. I’m very, very interested to see how the offense looks this year.

I think Tony Johnson can hold it down until Malachi Toney is ready to take over. Tony Johnson has 1,118 career yards, 108 receptions and 13 TD’s. He lead Cincinnati in TD receptions last season and he is a very sure handed receiver, in over 100 career targets he only has 3 drops.

This. Plus Lofton. Dawson could easily line up Lofton or motion him into the slot. And we have Ray Ray, who seemed to take his game up a level during Spring. I have zero worries about the slot tbh.

This is the variable that will determine our ceiling on the offensive end.
