Maybe I’m crazy but the top 3 teams really don’t scare me on offense. These teams are very one dimensional. Their QBs are average passers at best who require a ton of time in the pocket to make their reads. Forcing these teams to throw is easier said than done. Next weeks game will be a good indicator of how we match up with the top run heavy teams. Excited to see this “physical” ND offense that ppl keep raving about. I’m not 100% sold on that. The media throws out labels so quick now hard to tell what’s legit. I just can’t see any QB coming in here and willing taking 20+ hits from our defense.

Shut down the run, you kill that offense. Receivers are average at best across the board. Win bush is nothing more than VT quarterback with a good running back

VT was a one dimensional team with a qb who has average speed. A qb with good speed evades some of those tackles that we made on Jackson. Wimbush is fast and he can break things open with our slowish safeties. Something to watch. Hopefully we knock his block off

Our defense has seen so many gimmicky offenses this year that playing against a team the just runs straight at you is a God Send in many ways.

Just athlete on athlete "mano a mano" type of battles.
I think we will excel against it in many ways.

Jackson has more then average speed. But VT isn't great on O I agree.

Pinkney type of game. He was quiet last night. Will be household name by next Saturday morning

This. I’ve watched them play like four times this year. They’re nothing our def can’t handle. They have not faced a front like ours. Ncst has good players, but didn’t play with the level of intensity that we will bring sat. They definitely dont have our depth, and ncst was getting after them. Make them one dimensional and we will feast one their carcass, the stupid and all

Watching our defense last night we played a lot of QB spy, think the same game plan will be put in place this week.

I love our chances, if we are healthy after last night, the momentum will continue!!! The florida savages are different then anything that Richt had at Georgia. Our players just needed a staff to help them.
