our dbs

He’s not down. The play isn’t over until he’s down.
You couldn’t see it, but what u can see is Bryce hands comes off that ball multiple times in the air and on the ground, you can also see his arms moving which would indicate he’s trying to pry the ball away, who do you think he was trying to pry the ball from?

it looks like to me he lost control on the way down and the fight for the ball looked to hard for me, so somebody had to have their hands on it. if the ball was a lose as yall say it was he should have easily been able to bring it to his chest.
lol you’re the only one that clearly doesn’t see what everyone else saw and can still watch again

I mean, we were essentially playing with backups the entire game. Pass defense is gonna be an issue the rest of the year. Lucas still rusty and Antoine will be rusty when he gets back, too.

Just injuries man, they are truly hanging on by a thread. You can only lose so many DBs or have some playing hurt before it affects your defense in a big way. I mean Jesus

OJ Gone
Poyser Gone for Targeting
Fitzgerald Gone most of the game
Jaboree Gone
Lucas playing at like 60/70%
Brown playing at like 60/70%
When was it reported that Lucas and Brown were playing at 60/70%? I get that they were rusty and obviously not at game speed. I'm not downplaying the fact we were missing several key players in the secondary but saying Lucas and Brown were 60/70% seems a bit arbitrary.

IMO this is more than injuries in that what we witnessed last night was at least partly the result of being one of the dumbest situational football teams I've seen in quite some time.

Injuries injuries injuries and guys playing out of position. That said, we were sold a false bill of goods on this secondary. They flat out stink right now. Thornton can’t make a tackle to save his life, guys consistently take poor angles and are out of position, and no one has shown ball skills other than Fitzgerald.

They made Daniels look like a Heisman contender at times last night. The secondary and the OL are easily the weakest positions on this team.

Scheme or players? In no particular order.

1- DBs got beat long all game long
2- blitzes did not work and put DBs on islands
3- need to practice hail marys
4- Omar Thornton not worth the transfer fee
5- Poyser hurt The U
6- Hearherman coached very poorly
7- tackling was horrible

This meeds to be corrected
