Rules question. Even if it’s in the end zone, doesn’t a receiver have to survive the catch if going to the ground? If so it was never a catch. He didn’t have the ball at the end.

You couldn’t see it, but what u can see is Bryce hands comes off that ball multiple times in the air and on the ground, you can also see his arms moving which would indicate he’s trying to pry the ball away, who do you think he was trying to pry the ball from?

it looks like to me he lost control on the way down and the fight for the ball looked to hard for me, so somebody had to have their hands on it. if the ball was a lose as yall say it was he should have easily been able to bring it to his chest.

To be honest, I was expecting to see more screens from them later in the game after the success they had earlier.

What do you need to do on screens when you recognize? Stop sudden, redirect….

Yeah our secondary room is an infirmary. If they cant get healthy we have an obvious ceiling.

Injuries and 65 are a significant ceiling. We keep seeing insane attrition rate.

This. Fitz had the ball cradled in his arm when he landed and Robinson tried to pull it back after the fact.

FSU wants to claim this is a tie but a receiver having one hand touching the ball while a DB has both arms around it isn’t a tie.

Lots of **** didn’t make sense last night. Once 7 went out, I was concerned we would have a long night of 0 giving up grass… and that is what happened. The coaches failed to address that risk even knowing coming into the game 0 wasn’t a FS.

Well you don’t keep bringing DBs on blitzes and have your d-line trying to tackle in space! Just play them straight up and rush 4 and make their QB beat you with his arm, which he has shown all season he really can’t do. Until tonight when he went off on us. Every QB goes off on us smh

you can literally see Bryce try to fight for possession when they hit the ground, why bc he didn’t have full control. You couldn’t see it, but 0 def had 2 hands on it with his arms above his head when they hit the ground, Bryce fought for it and bc the call was an int, it stands.

yea it was the most unorganized we looked on defense in a long time.

Also, wonder how this game goes if the facemask js not called on Chase Smith; and FSU punts with a chance to go up 14-0. Unfortunate after a 3rd and long stop to have an “iffy” automatic first down penalty. This was essentially a turnover.
