I am not speaking as a conservative or a liberal, but I see people wearing MAGA hats on a regular basis(Not as much as down south, but I see at least a few a week). If you wear a MAGA hat into the projects and get robbed its not because you are wearing the MAGA hat its because people realize you are not from the projects and are an easy target. The same exact thing would happen if a white guy walked into the projects wearing Louis Vuitton Loafers, khaki shorts and polo shirt. Unless you purposely walk into a *** bar to stir up fights or something you will be safe in 99% of NYC wearing a MAGA hat or any other pro America hats. If you go 20 miles north of NYC you end up areas that resemble Tallahassee. I wouldn't want to walk through one of those trailer parks with a Hillary shirt on either.

Brotha please... you have heard of the incidents that have occurred when people wear the hats... and that's just the ones that made the news.
I really don't want to turn this political, rather let's just be honest. As for NYC, my daughter is there for a week on business and I'll ask. BTW... she's liberal but she's 100% honest with me. She's also a UF alum... please forgive her, lol.

NYC is the safest major city in the USA with Manhattan being the safest part of the entire NYC. There where literally 2 MAGA hat "attacks" in NYC that made the news. The first one was a guy who was trying to troll people and went from *** club to *** club and then started strolling around the bad areas of Harlem. Nothing happened to him except he got cursed out by some liberals. The other guy was a foreigner who got robbed and they tried to make it a news story about how he got robbed for his MAGA hat. He got robbed because he was in a bad neighborhood as a foreigner. That happens all the time to people not wearing the hat. There are also videos on the news of MAGA hat wearers beating up minorities. Both of these are blown up by the media to get views. Thousands of people wear Maga hats in NYC every day and only a handful attack minorities and only a handful have been attacked themselves. If I wanted to I could scour the web and prove that people that wear white shirts are at a risk of getting jumped in NYC if I pull up all of the muggings that happened to people wearing white shirts. Are you really telling me you would be afraid to wear a MAGA hat in NYC because a bunch of ****, feminists, and Pu**y liberals are going to make some snide remarks at you? Liberals are known for *****ing behind their computers and protesting, but never actually doing anything about the issue.

You'll find good food anywhere; only advice would be to stay out of Times Sq - some good spots in LIC and a lot of good restaurants in BK. Personally, best Pizzas are in Bx and LI.

I always recommend hitting up comedy cellar to visitors (the lineup is always good and on a good night you can catch a number of A list comedians); Plus if you arent into comedy, the area is very festive with lots of options

LOL. You will be safe as long as your not afraid of getting a few dirty looks from some Trans hipsters. Also, I am not saying feel free to take a stroll through some of the projects in the Bronx or Harlem, but you would get robbed walking through their even if you had on an Obama for President shirt. Really most of the pizza places in NYC are great because the bad ones get put out of business pretty quickly, but the best pizza places are Joes Pizza on 7 Carmine ST. Most delis in NYC will have great Reubens, but I always hear about Katz and Eisenbergs as being the king of the Reueben. I have never been to either of them, but I had always planned on stopping by one day. If I go anytime soon I will send you a PM with my review lol.
