Our best O-line lineup may be....

St Louis, Scaife, Gauthier, Boulware, and Donaldson

The combination of Donaldson and Boulware on the right side of that offensive line was just plain ole nasty. They were getting MASSIVE push in the run game when they were both on the right side.

Personally I really liked Scaife at LT but I'm not sure the coaching staff would do that nor do I know if St Louis can play guard.

Edit: Here are some drives with the Boulware, Donaldson combo.

Offensive drive from 8:12
Offensive drive from 12:38
Offensive drive from 16:03 (Must Watch)

If Donaldson struggles at tackle in ACC play look for Scaife to move there and Donaldson kicks inside with Gauither Mahoney and St. Louis. Boulware and Jones rotate in. The staff will not take Mahoney out of the lineup unless he just absolutely sucks.

Scaife is a player and played like it in all the drills and UA game........u have alot of frauds that make it to the ALL star games especially at OL but he held his own which is a good sign. All reports was that he was a beast, and lo and behold he looks like it here already.

It’s nice to have realistic options with the O-line rotations. Still need more depth with experience but this is better than it has been in a while. Looking forward to see how they gel as we get into ACC play.

Definitely would like to see more Scaife.

In all fairness FIU probably isn't a real barometer of how good our units are.

We will know much more about this squaddy tonight.

When scaife played in this game the O-line was greatly improved.. that kid is a 4 year starter here.... big time game for him..congrats

Donaldson seemed solid at right tackle yesterday, didn’t know any pressure on his side of the ball and scaife was very good. St
. Louis got beat bad that one play for a sack but was solid other than that

It’s looking like Scaife needs to take St Louis snaps. If anything, kick St Louis over to RT and move Donaldson to RG. Boulware has the other guard spot locked down.

On the play before perry fumbled, st Louis was beat so bad with a spin move that the end was able to chase homer down from behind on the opposite side of the field. The very next play, the same guy lines up and hits him with the same **** spin move causing the fumble.

How do you get beat that bad by the same guy, with the same move, 2 plays in a row? He is a liability at tackle
