The 2014 and 2019 teams ended with Miami finishing 6-7 with losing seasons. Believe it or not but Miami is going to have a pretty high number of players drafted come April next year. If that’s not an indictment on coaching or lack thereof then idk what that is.... The change starts there, get better coaching for these players

Thomas
Hill
Garvin
Quarterman
Pinckney
Bandy
Dallas
Osborn
Finley should have a chance but who knows.

Half of the players you listed won’t get drafted.

No QB, No OL. Not to mention the guys you mention all will be 4th rd or later at best. Finley will not get drafted, Bandy will not get drafted, Hill wont get drafted, Garvin 6th Rd. Dallas 5th rd. Shaq will probably be first at 4th rd. If he runs a slow 40, he too will fall. Jeff Thomas maybe as a 7th, Osborne a 6th or 7th.

I have watched a ton of football, we didnt have much NFL talent at the Junior/Senior level.

Rosseau will be a first rounder, Jordan a 2nd. Other than those 2, our most NFL ready guy is Hedley and that speaks volumes.

And if that half is drafted, it's 7th round fodder.

This team has been so woefully bereft of talent at the QB spot that Brad Kaaya starts to look good in hindsight. And to think, I once thought of Kaaya as a weakness. To then suffer through Malik Rosier, N'Kosi Perry, Jarren Williams, and Tate Martell is simply unconscionable.

Hill definitely will get drafted, he played better than garvin this year and Is a better athlete. As of now he’s the only cane going to the Reese senior bowl so that tells you what scout evaluators think of his talent and upside in the draft compared to other seniors on the team

We will see, he was underwhelming and couldnt beat out Scott Patchan. If he tests off the charts I agree with you, but will be late flier.

I'm not sure Hill is a better athlete than Garvin. Exiting high school Garvin's vertical jump was an excellent 36.2 while Hill was decent at 32.7. Both compare favorably to Chase Young, who posted a lousy 30.3.

Hill will be drafted fairly high. But the real story is how pathetic Garvin has played compared to his athletic gifts. His SPARQ number was very high at 97.9

Vertical jump has become well known as an analytics focal point for edge rusher. If you flunk the key tests for that position then it really doesn't matter how athletic you looked in college. The Dolphins keep making that mistake, drafting analytics flunkees like Dion Jordan and Charles Harris.

Chase Young will be drafted very high regardless. But that vertical jump number at the combine will likely indicate whether he does have elite pass rushing potential or is mostly a clever guy who is simply not explosive enough to dominate at the pro level.
