Other Teams Nervous *Added*

FSU calling UM a dumpster fire is the funniest thing I've read all day.

You can call Ruiz a liar but he claims UM is CURRENTLY top 15 in cfb profitability (I assume that's what he means by "top 15 financially" ) Now its public that UM is going to inject an additional $30 million into the program. Lane Kiffin is asking for the job. Meanwhile FSU is stuck with Mike Norvell. Hey, he beat Diaz for the 1st time in 3 tries. Give that man an extension.

The gist of it is Oregon fans think Mario won't leave because they're closer to a championship and "facilities."
Ole Miss fans think Oxford Mississippi is better than Coral Gables and SEC SEC SEC.
FSU fans think, at 4-6, they are twenty steps ahead of both UM and UF.
None of them believe Miami is willing to spend.

Anyone who believes Oxford Mississippi is better than South Florida is a serious homer. Put it this way.. If Lane leaves Oxford he's selling the house and never coming back. Yet he STILL owns his house in Boca. Hmmm...

I'm more than happy FSU fans suddenly want to keep their HC. By all means. He's a genius. Keep him.

Oregon fans have been blowing the facilities horn for years now. I coached a few kids who considered taking visits to Oregon just to see those legendary facilities, but every year they eventually bailed, because in the end they didn't want to waste a visit going all the way to Eugene just to check out their facilities.

Personally, I think if Mario tells them he wants to come home they won't make an outlandish counter. Yeah they'll obviously ask what they can do to make him stay. But if they get the sense that his heart is in Miami they aren't going to overpay and spend a crazy amount on a coach for the first time in their history. Especially for one who just told them his heart is elsewhere. Besides, if the Oregon job is as good as they seem to think it is, they'll have their choice of HC anyway. If it turns out they don't have options lining up.. well.. there ya go.

Also, do the Noles not realize that Norvell was their “Plan C” and that they’re stuck with him? Seriously.
He was plan 'E', if not 'F'. They publicly pursued B. Stoops, Franklin, Fleck, and Campbell and maybe to a lesser degree M. Stoops. Definitely the first 4 though. ****, they made one last desperate play for Franklin the day before they announced Norvell.

It’s such horse ****. No older Cuban lady whose lived in tropical climate her whole life is going to move up there with that cold. Maybe , maybe live there a few months of the year. But she won’t be there over the winter

My cuban grandparents moved from Miami to live with us in Oregon. They died shortly thereafter. Coincidence? I think not.

Even with the amount of funding the football program is about to receive, you still don’t think we’re comparable to Oregon?
Not what I think, but what’s the prevailing thought & that was case until whenever this financial increase is supposed to happen.

If you’re gauging by what might happen in the future, then sure you can make that argument, but if you’re judging by what’s happened in the last 17 years then you can’t expect for anybody that’s not a Canes fan to have any other outlook of our program than what’s been presented.

I get what you’re saying now. That’s fair.
