BYU won't get punished for making the championship game

Teams absolutely drop in the rankings when they lose conference championship games.

Obviously, but we already lost so can’t really go back now. The fact that we have to be perfect and all these other two loss teams get a free pass when they look like ****, don’t have “style points,” don’t have the head-to-head, and nearly lose is ridiculous.

Unfortunately that's what happens when you aint in the SEC and Big 10, shouldn't be that way but that is how the playoffs seem to work now. Only get two teams from acc and big 12 in if they both only have 1 loss going into the championship game, and even that is not a guarantee for big 12 and Acc. Notre Dame will be in every year since highly unlikely they ever lose more then 2 games a year with their schedule. Only way for Miami to ever get in is to be in the conference championship game

Very hard to believe they’ll punish a team for losing in their conference championship, especially if it ends up being close. But we’ll see. Gotta hope Texas tech outright destroys them.

BYU is not in at 11. They are out. 11 and 12 are for conference champions

The SMU game doesn't matter. VT and NC State. That's it.

It actually does I think, I remember when I sim’d it out if VT, NCSU, and Cal were to win we would be out, it would be UVA and Duke based on the always fun conference opponent winning percentage.

So we need VT, NCSU, and SMU to win to make the game
