Big10 did it a few years back after taking a vote mid-season to change the tie breakers. AAC decides it this way.

If this conference had any god**** brains to it they’d do the same thing.

could perhaps justify that since Miami was REQUIRED to play Notre Dame per its affiliation with the ACC, the game will be taken into account for the acc tiebreakers. Pipe dreams, I know. Covid season the ACC says Notre Dame is an ACC team and they end up ******** everyone else, now the ACC won’t decide to count them when it actually helps the conference.
