These dudes can't catch for ****.
Why would they care? Also do we reckon the NFL will start blacklisting people? Dean Blandino is the 'Head of XFL Officiating', Greg Olsen is commentating on this Vipers game. They're definitely taking notes.
and also, marc treasman. This guy is all over the map. NFL, CFL and XFL. he's like the energy bunny. stoops comin out of retirement. Yesterday's games were better cause of the stadium capacity.Which is why they are in the XFL.
I think you are spot on about these teams and the cities they are in. Im blown away they choose Tampa over Orlando when every single Pro league thats been in Orlando has had massive crowds. The first time around I think Orlando lead the league in attendance. So is anyone else thrown by how 'excited' the crowds seem?
It's Week 1 of a brand new, totally rootless, football league. I'd understand it more if these teams were based in cities that didn't already have an NFL franchise (which is what I think they should have done), but they're not.

I totally agree. How about the mid west. Arkansas, Oklahoma and northern states also. The Dakota's were they don't have a pro team.I think you are spot on about these teams and the cities they are in. I also think they should be looking to add teams in mid major type cities. Go to those types of cities where your the only game in town.
1 mil% . All the places you mentioned would embrace the teams .I totally agree. How about the mid west. Arkansas, Oklahoma and northern states also. The Dakota's were they don't have a pro team.
This time around they actually gave the teams plenty of camp time to practice instead of rushing the product like they did back in 2001. The actual game play is much better and far more entertaining. It feels like real football not gimmicky crap. I was also surprised they didn’t give Orlando a team. I had season tickets for the Rage when I was living there and they got decent crowds at the Citrus Bowl. The fact that Orlando only has one major pro team means they’ll turn out in droves for minor league stuff like this. I could never get over how big a deal arena football was there. People would get all excited about going to a Predators game.

The Detroit Burned out Husks of automobiles left on the side of residential streets. If you had an xfl team in Detroit, what name would you call them. Just for fun. Be creative.

If they ever want one of these leagues to work they need to open it up to players out of HS as an option other than college. Because the NFL basically has a free farm league in the college game. Though this would hurt us the most with all the grade casualties in Florida.
sorry not trying to fully derail the OP
