The Shockers are set to join the AAC. Interesting, and makes that conference a lot better. Great move for them. If UConn, Temple and Memphis can get their act together, and SMU and Cincy stay good, this conference is going to be very good. UCF had a good year too this year, making the NIT Final Four in Johnny Dawkins first year. Just an interesting off topic discussion.

The first clue would have been the fact that they claim to be a state when they're clearly in Kansas

I guess adding someone for basketball only makes sense when you want people to take you seriously as a football conference. That makes a ton of sense. It's great for WSU, but the whole reason the American exists is because Big East football schools got tired of basketball schools telling them how to run their departments.

Well, they added Navy as a football only member last year.
