If the president invites me to the White House, the answer is, "Thank you, I'd love to come." If the president serves me McDonald's, the response is, "Thank you, it was delicious."

Politics need not infect everything and the response is the same regardless of the president.

Understanding the President's knack for inspiring reactionary news, I thought it was a pretty artful way of injecting the politics of the shutdown into an otherwise benign photo op while also trolling his critics (and thus enflaming his most ardent supporters).

If this were the Canes, I would've been disappointed for them. Ultimately, this is arbitrary pomp and pageantry, but decorum and acknowledgement have their place. To borrow the sentiment from his campaign slogan, when America was great, national champions were bestowed the honor of a White House visit in recognition of their accomplishment.

Wait but someone told us that only Miami players eat junk food and Clemson players have state of the art nutrition centers so they are above eating crap food.

Oh boy, that's the rapiest slippery slope I've ever seen.

Trump said that's what he figured college kids would like to eat.

He clearly isn't plugged into the ¢lem$on life$tyle

In the past teams didn't even get food!! Look it up! Fact is Trump didn't have to do anything. He could have canceled the whole thing if he wanted to since you know it is a shutdown.

When I was in college I crushed fast food. Still get the craving from time to time. And McDonalds is a great American company that has been served in **** near every single house in the country. Why not the white house??

It was FUN. He just acts like a normal guy and people can't stand it for some reason.
