OT - What's Your Favorite Beer ?

My beer preference is always changing, depends on the mood I'm in. There aren't many beers I don't like except for big brand American **** beers. Though of course I'll drink those too if it's the only option. I'm also not blindly obsessed with IPA's like everyone else in our country seems to be right now. One of my old go tos has always been boddingtons in the yellow can. So easy going down and has great flavor.

Gave up booze just over a month ago however, and my life has benefited in every aspect. As a result, not sure when it will be when I have a beer again.

Love Boddingtons, nitro makes it smooth. Other UK/Irish beers, Smithwicks, Old Speckled Hen, Guinness, Murphy's, yum.

No worries here, to each their own! Have you ever tried the cider made by Stella? Its called Stella Cidre. You can find it at pretty much any grocery store. Its the only cider ive ever had that manages to maintain some beer qualities to it. But yet its still very much an apple cider. You should give it a try, Tee, I bet you'd like it.

I haven't but I am down to try it...will do. thanks bro

Oh yeah..I had an IPA Voodoo Ranger before...it was good but I was faded after drinking 4.

Before the craft beer movement hit south Florida, the UK beers were my go-to's. I still enjoy a Boddington's or Murphy's when I'm at the Irish pub.

I was never a big IPA guy (too bitter for me) but a lot of the newer one'a are incorporating more citrus flavors either from they type of hops or from adding fruit. I find them much more enjoyable than some of the more traditional IPAs that kind of taste like a pine tree.

Anything made by Weihenstephan and Paulaner also love any Koelsch ..... always liked Warsteiner since i was a kid ( im German so im biased towards german beer)

Grew up an hour from the brewery back when you could only get it in PA and a few surrounding states so I was predisposed to it.

I live in Oregon so I am spoiled. If anyone comes across any beers by Breakside, Great Notion, Upright or Deschutes they are my favorites.

I think jai alai from cigar city is my favorite. If I had to pick one beer for the rest of my life it would be sierra nevada pale ale. Anybody else in here homebrew?
Jai alai isn't that good anymore, they changed the hop profile and the yeast stain a couple years ago and ruined the beer... yeah I homebrew finished top 5 in the state this year

We hired one of the brewers from Deschutes a couple of years ago, guy is super smart, degree in neural science, graduate from UC Davis beer school. He makes fantastic beer. Deschutes fresh squeezed ipa is really good.

Who is "we"? Hoping it is a local brewery in S. Fla.

Pitt Street Brewing in Greenville, NC. Used to live in Dunedin, FL. Great breweries in Tampa Bay area are 7th Sun, Tampa Bay Brewing, 3 Daughters, too many to mention. Cigar City lost its luster when they sold.
