I've been a big fan of Funky Buddha since they opened up the tap room/brewery in Oakland Park. The Maple Bacon Coffee Porter has been their darling for a while but my favorite is Last Snow coconut coffee porter. They were purchased by Constellation Brands (Corona) recently but their quality is still top notch. They specialize in dessert themed beers. Lots of chocolate, peanut butter, sweet potato, french toast flavors.

Best Brewery in Miami is J. Wakefield hands down. If you're in Wynwood, it's worth the stop.

Gameday tailgates I've been drinking a lot of Dogfish Head Sea Quench. It's slightly sour but still light and drinkable on a 90 degree day. Like a much better version of a Corona with a lime. Plus you can get it at a lot of Publix's so it's convenient.

Love me some Pumpkin Beer during football season. My guilty I’m ashamed beer of choice is Shipyards Pumpkin Head, it’s basic it’s all over Publix but it was my first love.

Found this gem the other day from Tampa Bay Brewing

My beer preference is always changing, depends on the mood I'm in. There aren't many beers I don't like except for big brand American **** beers. Though of course I'll drink those too if it's the only option. I'm also not blindly obsessed with IPA's like everyone else in our country seems to be right now. One of my old go tos has always been boddingtons in the yellow can. So easy going down and has great flavor.

Gave up booze just over a month ago however, and my life has benefited in every aspect. As a result, not sure when it will be when I have a beer again.

I haven't given up alcohol, but I do drink far less, typically saving it for weekends or special occasions. Even then, it's day/early evening drinking - I taper off and really try to not drink after 8PM, as it makes me hung over and F's with my sleep badly. The days of drinking 4 7% IPAs out at a bar between 9pm and 1am are long over, I can't do that anymore.

Favorite beer, that's an impossible question to answer. I guess that if limited to more non-special-release stuff I can in theory find at a Total Wine on a regular basis, it would likely be Founders All Day IPA or even good old Anchor Steam. Sierra Nevada Porter and Anchor Porter are also old favorites.

Founders Mosaic Promise is one I drink a lot of. $15.99 for a 15 rack of hoppy craft beer, yes please!

I also like Hazy Little Thing from Sierra Nevada, it is really tasty.

I am from Florida and live in the Midwest (Indy) and I am not a huge fan, but one thing the Midwest has going for it is a lot of fantastic breweries! Bell's, Founders, Dark Horse, Great Lakes, Three Floyds... The list goes on and on.

I really like Westcoast and New England IPAs.

I agree re the Last Snow. Both are good, but IMO that has better flavor than the maple bacon. Will be interesting to see if they change after being acquired by a goliath. Hopefully not.

I think they have already changed. I haven't been impressed by a Buddha beer in almost 2 years now.

I like pumpkin brews in the Fall as well. I've tried tons of them. My favorite is Pumking by Southern Tier. Their Warlock pumpkin stout is awesome as well.
