It still bothers me that USC doesn’t have the name on the back of their jersey’s.

I know who all the players are, but I just think that old school “traditional” sh*t is so trivial.

Like just let the **** kids have their names on the back for crying out loud lol

Pac-12 could have shootout and I’d still be uninterested. Idk if it’s the time or what but I never make it thru a full Pac-13 game

I’ll disagree. Traditions can be important. Some teams reserve uniform numbers for special players (like Michigan and #1, or USC and #55). These things seem trivial symbols but are meaningful connections to the past. Miami fans should know all about that because that‘s all we’ve had for a dozen or more years.

Miami doesn’t use helmet stickers like some other schools. I think it was tried once in the past (Richt?), a hurricane flag or warning symbol. Disliked it, glad it’s gone. Disliked when Shannon took the names off the jersey. Dislike the off-traditional green uniforms. Dislike the Miami Nights black uniforms. All crap made up by apparel corporations. Blech…….
