My man you are clearly so wrong on this. The whole point is that Khabib is the best wrestler in the UFC ever. Not the most accomplished, not the best wrestler ever, but simply the best wrestler ever to grace the Octagon under the set rules. No one will even attempt to offer a counterpoint to that because it’s as unanimous as it gets with the opinions of people who know way more than you and I.

That last statement is 100% false. If you ask the most accomplished Wrestler or BJJ guys they are going to agree with my list. NOBODY except Joe Rogan and the UFC Hype team are saying Khabib is the greatest wrestler to ever grace the octagon.

And I would never have said Mac has better hands Mayweather, that's even more stupid than your argument

We’ll just have to agree to disagree my brother but can you at least acknowledge that no one has ever dominated their opponents on the ground quite like Khabib has done in the entire history of the UFC? Call it whatever discipline you want wrestling Sambo grappling etc. no one comes close period. And this is coming from a guy who hopes Ferguson whoops his ***.

I have a following because I actually competed in MMA and have an extensive wrestling and BJJ background. You don't know schit about grappling besides what Joe Rogan says. Khabib is not the greatest grappler to step into the octagon nor greatest wrestler.

Did you just start watching MMA? 10 years ago you used to have guys that where elite college wrestlers with no other background stepping into the octagon. You can't become an elite striker, elite wrestler,and elite grappler. It is impossible. When guys who are elite in their particular field step into the octagon. They are going to be more elite than a pure MMA fighter.

Not to be pedantic, but Royce Dominated guys on the ground worse in UFC 1. Dan Severn was rag dolling guys in the early UFCs.

True but that was in the early days of the UFC where the competition was nowhere to the level it is today. So it’s not really debatable that Khabib is dominating at a time when the completion is both stronger and more numerous.

Agreed, but the reason why the UFC is so great now is because fighters are so much more well rounded. Dominating a well rounded fighter on the ground, in todays era is easier than dominating a guy who wrestled his whole life and only has a couple years of striking(which was very common in the mid to late 00s).
