OT: UFC 242 Khabib vs Poirier

That dude isnt letting Poirier stand at all, and credit to DP he is using a Mayweather type shoulder roll for MMA. There will be many copy cats because IMO DP has changed the stand up game, he can counter powerful attacks from the shoulder roll. No more have unbalanced super man punches he can land heavy damaging shots. Max Holloway for the DP fight he went to his corner and said he was confused by his blocking, that boxing guard aint no ***** joke if u bring that to the MMA its a wrap u will sleep dudes. From that defense he will be in the phone booth and will use his eyes way better for more effective counter punches. @OriginalGatorHater boxing still king fam lol

If he is smart he takes Dustin down early and often but the same strategy was obvious in the Iaquinta fight and Kabob stood with him the whole fight.

He has to do that same thing he did early with Connor when his team was screaming take him to the ground, and when CM got tired he stood up cause one thing KN has that elites have is stamina. Once CM was tired its not the same CM for the first 3 minutes of stand up combat.

Yoel Romero is the best grappler I have ever seen. DC is up there and, I know Askeren's last fight was embarrassing for him, but he can wrestle too. Khabib is a great fighter, but to just pick out his wrestling and say he's the best you have ever seen, my opinion is, you haven't watched much MMA.

Khabib is like the Aroldis Chapman is MMA. May not be a complete pitcher, but he's got 104 on the gun waiting for you at any time. Some dudes just have a trump card...that ++ attribute...Khabib's ability to transform himself into a threatened Grizzly Bear once that bell rings is his. He doesn't have the speed of a cheetah, the precision of an eagle...but you're ******* dead, m8.

Khabib will do what he does , maul this dude. Dude is a beast on the ground , and he’ll get you there and keep you there.

I'm calling bull**** on the Romero citation.

His credentials are amazing, but he thinks he's a kick boxer. He very rarely actually uses his wrestling.
