CaneFam, Im coming down to Miami for the Rolling Loud tour May 11- 13.

I'll be staying in Ft Lauderdale but the festival will be at Hard Rock. We plan on spending the days near Miami beach/South Beach before the festival starts. Me and my group(of four) have been debating on whether it'd be cheaper to Uber around or drive and park.
Also, I would love a list of you guys favorite places to eat.

Feel free to send me a PM as well

We have all been to Miami individually for different reasons and trips but none of us know what you locals or frequents know.

Thanks in advance.

I'd look into renting a car if you're going to be out and about. The uber form Fort Lauderdale to HRS shouldn't be too bad but if you're planning on heading into Miami proper or even just seeing the sights, there's going to be a lot of driving involved and there's no real public transportation here.

Tap42 is a good spot in lauderdale for craft beer, drinks, and above average food.

Gotcha. So we may as well use the rental we are driving down in.

Plenty of parking in Lauderdale... Rent a car

LOL. But what about when we are at the festival in Hard Rock Stadium?

We just want to know what the best thing to do for Transpo once we get there traveling to and from Ft Lauderdale to sleep as well as around Miami when were eating and at the festival

You also have to pay a little trip to Versailles Resturant. The Avocada Salad followed by the Grilled chicken with sweet onions with Moros Rice and Sweet Plantains.

If you're ubering to the hard rock just get ready for a nightmare of getting outta of that place via uber But if you're going to south Miami anything in the grove is pretty sweet

Hmm so we may as well Drive all around then. Sounds like public transpo really aint that much better than driving.

Seeing as how I got friends up here in VA from OT. I aint that stupid.

Although, it wouldn't scare me any. They might think im a local with all this gold in my mouth.

So then you should know that all the best places are exactly where I said they are.

Just how the hard rock has the ubering set up is a night mare I remember the va tech game my buddy and I had to walk a couple miles out of the stadium to our guy... But besides that I'd think it be more convenient and safer to uber whatever you do outside the hard rock save yourself from trying to find somewhere to park everywhere you go in Miami

LOL. Give me some of your Faves man!

Casa Frida off federal and commercial... great Mexican food

Cap's Place by lighthouse point ... awesome seafood, historic restaurant (you take a little boat from a dock to the restaurant)

Big Bear Brewery ... off university and Atlantic. Good food and solid beer made in house

gotcha. So you think its best that we Drive to the stadium from the room in Ft Lauderdale but if we are going to be eating and site seeing in south beach and beyond then its better to get an uber rather than try to worry about parking?
