Ot: tom herman is no savage

Houston just wasn't ready to play today and that's on herman. they lost to Memphis because came out flat, it happens when coaches name is in the news for other jobs. that said I don't understand how u can beat Louisville and lose to Memphis.

Houston has the most talent in the aac but are gonna finish 3rd with 3 losses. if he were Miami coach and had lost to the equivelant of the teams he has at Houston, that would be lost to duke, gt and vt, people on here would rip him even if he did win against fsu. and Houston is playing with best roster in there conference Miami isn't
 
He's a good coach. He's hardly the God the idiots on here made him out to be. How ******* hard is that to see?

The head coach is responsible for wins and losses. Mark Richt gets all the heat no matter which side of the ball underperforms, and rightfully so. It's the head coach's job to manage the entire program.
 
We always make such a big deal of this stuff. Al golden doesn't suck because he threw ice cream parties, he sucks because he isn't a good coach. Pete Carroll had slip n slide contests and offensive lineman kicking competitions but everyone loved it because he won. Acting like making players earn the logo on their helmet has anything to do with the W-L record is reading too much into it.

I'm sure Herman will be good but these stories don't mean anything until you see the product on the field.
 
I think he's going to do really well.

And I don't have to wonder "what if" about him, because I know he was never coming to Miami to coach.
