So it's conference media season and there is a little recruiting going on, but mostly **** is boring in the message board streets. The local sports radio in Nashville asked a fun/interesting question based on this weeks RNC and next weeks DNC: If your college program was hosting a convention for their school, who would be invited to speak for the 4 nights? The only rules are that you can't have multiple speakers for the slot (we can't have the entire '01 national title team, for instance) and it can't all be from 1 sport or area of the school. It's open to any alumni or ambassador of the U. And for us, it can't all be football players!

Night 1: Dwayne Johnson in character as The Rock to get **** too hyped
Night 2: Ray Lewis - because duh
Night 3: Bruce Feldman - would be a great speech
Night 4: Howard m'****** Schnellenberger - can't have a Miami Convention without the Godfather of the U

Who you got?

Literally all your guys have to do with football in some way.
Heres a list of other big alumni we have:
Ray Liotta and I would say Stallone, but no one can understand what he says anyway. Judge Milian (from the peoples court) still lives in Coral Gables. Le Betard or Drew Rosenhaus.
Gloria Estefan for a Musician is decent, as she was one of Billboards 100 greatest artist of all time. Not many Artists go to college anyway.
ARod for Baseball, James Jones for Basketball.

Plus we have a sitting US Senator in Marco Rubio who, if Kasich had left the race earlier, may have been the Republican Presidential nominee.

We sure as **** aren't claiming Marco Rubio. For at least a couple of reasons. Firstly, he graduated from UF and went to law school at Miami, so he's a Gator. Secondly, he's Marco Rubio.

He spent just as much time at Miami as he did UF. And the time here was actually more important. Secondly he is a senator in Florida. How is that not a big time alum? ****, he's still better than Trump or Hillary.
