At that age trouble with parents (especially conservative, religious ones) is big.

He could have disrespected and rejected her after the act. She could be crazy. Her boyfriend could have found out she was at some random black guy’s house.

The reasons for a false accusation may be flimsy by our logic, but never underestimate the emotions of young women/girls.

It’s usually about revenge or not wanting to face up to the act in public.

Not necessarily. Lots of states have “Romeo and Juliet” exemptions to statutory laws. In Florida if the older party is under 21 and the younger party is at least 16, it’s legal.

Quite possibly. Still it seems like this is a very public way to try to hide something.

That doesn't 100% guarantee he didn't ultimately rape her, but I agree with your post here, Vern. That doesn't add up.

You’re right because Jameis Winston’s accuser didn’t have to drop out of school and move because of death threats.
Besides, you didn’t answer the question. What is there for her to gain? I mean it’s possible she’s making the whole story up to not get in trouble but it seems like a lot of effort to avoid getting grounded.

I said it’s possible. Duke Lacrosse team is another example. But just because it has happened a few times in the past doesn’t mean we should assume that’s always the case. Especially when statistics say the exact opposite.
