I actually took a peek at their recruiting class yesterday. They got very few of the top players from the NC, VA, MD and DC region. They got issues.

Im crossing my fingers for OT Barber and CB Dawson and figure out how we can get 3 spots for transfers. CB, DE, LB, or maybe WR. KJ Osborn would have been a monster with King.

I understood what you meant. College football is big business, there is no loyalty, well very little. Coaches bail on players all the time, or new ones are hired that didn't recruit them. So the portal gives a player a chance to move if the current school isn't working out. I think the portal has been a great option for the player. I don't know if all the situations have worked out, but it certainly has for Miami.
