OT: TCU signed a QB from Germany

Who was the Aryan monster that FSU had a few years back?
Björn Werner?

I dont think QB is the right position to look after in Europe. I play football overseas in my country myself and the coaching of homegrown QB's still is an issue over here. Level of competition varies from well coached well funded youth programs with good american coaching to FSU level of opponents lol

There is a good pool of raw talent overall that can be developed into solid players, it still takes some years to narrow the gap of coaching which is the biggest issue next to ressources for a sport that is by far less popular than soccer and other sports...

I see what yall did here.

Especially the Hogans Heroes ones. That show is famous and loved in Germany because of the **** jokes.

And yeah, Honig I think plays in the USA for a longer time now. His arm and his mechanics are really good. Most QBs fail overseas to gain attention due to a lack of mechanics and arm strength.

Germany has put some players in the league. Werner fell out due to injuries (and a bad scheme fit), Vollmer was a Pro Bowler and one of the best RT in the game during his time. Now, the only really active German to play a lot of snaps is Jakob Johnson, who is the starting FB for the Patriots.
