I'll bet you never collect on that term...could be a good thing... Just saying... And I'll bet that mutual fund gets cut in half sometime in the next 5 years

If you only care about your beneficiary then I can agree with you..

watch these- - cash value

- Suzy Orman - buy term/ invest rest

Would love your opinion/discussion

My term policy is for 30 years and when the policy expires i have the guaranteed right to convert to permanent life insurance without evidence of insurability. But more to the point, I probably won't convert because I only wanted to cover up until a certain age and once I hit that age my beneficiary probably won't need the money. In other words I covered myself during peak earning years, so if I pass away my beneficiaries won't be at a detriment financially.

Now during the years that I've had the policy. The savings between whole life and term I've invested in no load mutual funds. The balance of these funds are now valued at approximately 175k.

Just a lot better way to go.

seems like it was only for protection for others.... Then it was a good choice.

I think I’m going back into cash tomorrow. 100% I’ll make it back when it retests the lows. If you look back, I called 2300. It’s time to fly again. 🦅 💵

so you are not 100% in cash and did not sell Amazon?

Q1 probably not as bad as people think.

Q2 is going to be apocalyptic end-of-capitalism bad. Q3 likely not much better.

Earnings are immaterial right now. The government is putting everything on the Deficit Card. Selling based on poor earnings is a fool’s errand, currently. Poor earnings are baked into the market. If anything, better than horrible is good news and leads to spikes.

Hertz bankruptcy, means shareholders likely to get nothing. Beware anyone in travel related stocks.
I saw that the leadership got $16 million in "retention bonuses" 2 days prior to this bankruptcy. I hope the creditors sue the **** out of them (I'm assuming this is possible).

Right, can't authorize and issue huge bonuses to themselves w/out knowing they were going to declare bankruptcy.

Biggest hoax ever.

I just keep dropping these nuggets all over this site:

NY has 19 million people and 20000 COVID deaths
Florida has 20 million people and 1200 deaths

Sounds like CuHomo is padding the numbers for those federal dollaz.

AND, little CNN Cuomo is on TV sounds like David Koresh: "Imagine what you would lose going back to work. Look at all that you have gained"..

bro...
You must work for Fox News. Always selling BS. Look around the world. All people and economies are suffering. Stop trying to minimize the lives lost at the hands of this virus.

lol na, I just got common sense, unlike the Cuhomo new york governor. That idiot sent old people to die in nursing homes.

Also, look around. Everyone rioting is not going to the hospital for Covid. Only the ones lucky enough to get a rubber bullet between the eyes are going to the hospital.

I bought Carnival and Norwegian for cruise lines at like $9-$10 a share after seeing their 52 week high was in the $50’s per share. Also bought some American Airlines a week ago, should have waited til 2 days ago but here we are.

i bought Norwegian at $10 a share as well. I should buy more.

Not trying to be a Danny Downer here, but there's a pretty good possibilty that one of the big cruise lines could declare bankruptcy (and, shareholders lose their money). All 3 of the big ones are projecting negative earnings through 2023 and no one has come up with a sensible plan to get upwards of 3,500 people to committ to a week or more on a potential floating gulag, where you can get quarnateened for a month or more and can't leave your room.

I’ve been in ERI (Eldorado) since 20 and it hit 43 today ....as casinos continue to open up and their deal with Caesers becomes official I believe they’ll be headed to 60-70+ before the end of summer

I put in some non-serious money in Delta and MGM a few weeks ago and now I wish I put in serious money. Though I am not an idiot, so I will keep my money in more reliable stocks.
