Ol boys just picked up two late commits, ★★★★★ OT Kyle Murphy and ★★★★★ OT Andrus Peat...

Take a look at this offensive line they recruited this year.

OT Kyle Murphy ★★★★★ - #4 OT
OT Andrus Peat ★★★★★ - #9 OT
OG Joshua Garnett ★★★★ - #3 OG
C Graham Shuler ★★★★ #4 C
OT Nick Davidson ★★★★
OG Brandon Fanaika ★★★
OG Johnny Caspers ★★★

Then, to top it off, their defensive line commitments.

DT Aziz ****tu ★★★★
DE Jordan Watkins ★★★★
DE Luke Kaumatule ★★★★
NT Ikenna Nwafor ★★★
DE Nathanael Lohn ★★★

That's a lot of beef in one recruiting class...****.

If I'm Barry Sanders Jr. I'm loving life considering they just picked up an amazing offensive line. While FSU will get all of the fan fare for their DL class...Stanford's OL class has it beat IMO...wow...big time.

That's a ridiculous class for Stanford. Who is their next QB in line to start, they could be good for a long time.

Wow that's some insta-depth right there, and if some of those kids are ready to contribute immediately then they will be in really good shape. I know it's cliche, but games are won and lost in the trenches. It's a fact.

I love Miami with all my heart. I went to UM and I am a Cane. But if I had a kid, and he had a choice of any school to play at, it would be Stanford.

They are playing top football now, you get an Ivy level education, you play against very good competition, and you will make relationships that will benefit you for the next 80 years.

I'd pay for Stanford to let my kid play football for them.

They SHOULD be good. And they are committed to better facilities and a stadium expansion now.

Honesty.

Could. Not. Agree. With. You. More.

I agree about the education part of playing at Stanford. You simply can't beat it.

Football wise? I see Stanford crawling back down to earth beginning this season. Sure they have recruited fairly well but they still have no real weapons on offense and their defense is not that fast either.

Luck was the biggest reason that they were so good the past 2 seasons. Post Luck they are gonna suffer major growing pains, they simply don't have that much talent to just reload.

Stanford has always been a 6-6, 7-5 8-4 team since I can remember. I see that trend continuing.

And the kid would use a windows based PC, no?

Stanford trying load up on big OL to take on the SEC bigger teams? Would be my guess. With that kind of line they could dominate the Pac 12.

Blaspheme. Think it, don't say it.

Harvard and Stanford would be the only reasons I'd want my kid going other than UM, I'd never admit that though, outside an internet forum that is.

Stanford is on fire right now. Def worth it to go there for the piece of paper you receive. Best deal in football.

OL is such a complete crapshoot in the HS to College transition. The stuff that makes for a good OL is really difficult to project in terms of star rankings (which are often initiated when these guys are still 16ish).

In this past NFL draft, 6 OL were taken in the first round. Here's the breakdown: one 5-star, one 4-star, one 3-star (NR), two 2-stars (including a TE) and one JuCo 4-star.

And, even this is wildly skewed because interior OL aren't taken as often in Round 1, so some of the bias that works into the rankings are the same things NFL teams use to "project" Offensive Tackles (big potential based on size/athleticism).

their ol haul is AMAZING.....

they have guys that can line up from day 1..add to it last year they recruited well their.

On the dl they have HUGE guys....another great haul.....

one problem with stanford and it affects them even in their conference...is their SLOW as ****..lol...i mean their skill positions are all slow. THEIR DEFENSE is a bunch of Jared Campblls out there.....

i think they have recruited Luck's successor they have one or two good qb pickups....

they need some speed at wideout BADLY.
