OT Shotgun Veer Help

Any advice or good drills for teaching 5th and 6th grade QB & RB the veer from gun? Footwork, mesh point, etc. it’s a triple option veer with slot coming in orbit motion to get in pitch relationship. Long time coach, first time veer though
