OT: Senile Mack Brown forgot college football has overtime...

Missed 2 pt and didn’t recovery the onside kick. Fire the special teams coach. ******* Patke.

The decision was correct. The play call was bad.

You are 2-2 with an undermanned team who shouldn’t be in the game but are. There are no moral victories going to overtime and if you go there the talent gaps usually shines through as guys tire. Plus Clemson still has time to win it if you only tie but the pressure is 100x more if they are behind and press.

I loved the decision by Mack

You don't want to go against a much more talented team in OT.
I would normally agree with this, but there was just too much time left for "the better team" to go down and kick a FG to win it. If they make the two, Clemson has to go down the field and score. If they tie, Clemson goes down and tries to score. If you miss the 2 point conversion, game over.

I'd have gone for 2 if Clemson had far less time to get in FG range, but with that much time left you take the sure thing. Just my two cents.

If you got the number one...perhaps the greatest team of a generation...on the ropes...and you have a ******* CHEST and a set of cojones...you go for the ******* haymaker before the bell. You don't let it go to the judges.

Mack made the right call and you are a coward, OP.

I think it was just desperation. He knew they weren't winning in OT so go up 1 and pray they can stop them 1 more time lol.

You don't want to go against a much more talented team in regulation either. But UNC hung with them and was a chip shot away from taking them to OT, where anything can happen; a tipped ball for a pick, a fumble that takes a bad bounce. Anything.

If his QB was hurt, then I could understand. But then why would you run the triple option with him??

I respect the call, the wrinkled stones on that guy.

Even if they convert, Clemson had a good chance of getting a game winning FG. This way, they didn't need to even try. Had there been seconds left, I'd understand. There was just too much time left to try it there. The play call was horrible as well.

I agree, I hated the call altogether. The defense played solid. Sure, the smart money was on Clemson easily kicking the FG, but ****....give it a run.

You see it all the time with G5 teams against P5 teams. When the talent difference is massive you try and win when you get the chance, not let it go to OT.

Wait for it.....here comes the posts about being a team that barely lost to the UNC team that almost beat Clempson. :ROFLMAO:
I prefer to look at it as our offense is better because we scored 25 and Clemson only scored 21.

Shows his team how much he believes in them to perform....

Only thing I scratch my head on was that play...

THAT was your best GOTTA HAVE IT play?
