I mean he is direclty or indirectly responsible for the firings of so many good coaches there.

UF, TENN are corchless now
Texas AM to follow

the exodus of coaching talent over the last 7 years is astonishing:
Les Miles, Urban Meyer, Mark Richt, Hugh Freeze, Bobby Petrino, Gene Chizik to name a few

3 of the coaches i mentioned actually won a national championship and still managed to get fired.
The only good coaches left beside Satan are Gus Malzahn and Dan Mullen.

The irony of the SEC is that they have a ton of money and shiny new facitlities but nobody to actually coach the players.

The thing with the SEC is, they all want to be Bama. But they have to realize that there is only one Bama. Clemson is a great example of trusting your coach and sticking with them even after a loss. These SEC schools fire their coach because they lose to bama a few times instead of building their team up. People have no idea what firing a coach can do to a program. An then hiring the wrong coach can set your program back years.

The SEC East is so bad that Georgia got MCTooth and Bortch fired and then a 2 loss SEC West team exposed them for being frauds. There is literally no fight left in the SEC East....it's a corchless disaster at TENN and UFlop.

Sage advise for our fan base as well.

That’s his job to make Alabama the best ever year. Can’t blame him for the knee jerk reactions of other Administrations. But make no mistake about it. There are PLENTY of corches who wouldn’t have won even if u gave them 100 years.

Honestly, I agree with this. When the SEC had their big rise, it was because they had great coaches. Urban, Spurrier, Les, Saban, Richt, Franklin, Petrino (anyone else?).

Urban left (likely because he was afraid of Saban)
Petrino was banging his side chick
Les - directly impacted by Saban. LSU possibly has 2 more titles without Saban there.
Spurrier - really just couldn't get consistent
Richt -always lost a game he shouldn't and when he finally had a chance to get to the title game, lost to bama in SECCG (thanks to a drop by his TE in the end zone that would have won the game).
Franklin -was at Vandy
Sumlin - couldn't get past bama when they were good

Then the replacements are washed up coaches, or Golden 2.0s.

Too true. I never expected Dabo to succeed there. He's done a great job.

I think he has destroyed the $EC in a number of ways. He does an unprecedented level of cheating, has no salary cap, and has an unlimited budget for "quality control" assistants.

Impossible to be a coach in the SEC where fans demand excellence in year one and want you fired by year three.

Plus the towns are brutal, which is why they never want Miami to be back, or a school like USC for that matter.

I just hope Gus is at Auburn for awhile. He's the one dude in that conference that can take it to Saban (and now Kirby's) defense.

LSU should have never fired Les Miles.

UF and UT should be coachless. If they want to say their competition is Bama and fire based on that, then every team should be coachless in the SEC. Their problem is their coaches can't even beat teams they should be beating.

A&M went for the money and sacrificed their program in the end. They should've stayed put in the Big 12. They weren't a powerhouse program there, now they've gone somewhere that plays everywhere but where their base is. On top of that, it wasn't going to be any better in an arguably tougher football conference. Strictly football wise, horrendous overreaching move.

UGA, sure they just got pummeled, but nobody expected them to be ranked number one. In particular when they lost their starting QB. Richt seems morr energized now than when he was at UGA. I have always said after a long time somewhere that coaches by and large need a change. They start to coast on autopilot, doing the same things since they previously worked. I think Richt fell into that rut, it happens all the time in every facet of the business world. They came close sometimes, but he could never get them over that hump, they fired him, and I can't fault them for trying.

Petrino at Arkansas, they had to fire him. He fired himself with his lies. Arkansas isn't a premiere SEC team and never will be on a consistent basis.

Saban, he's just doing what he's asked. Blaming him is dumb as ****.

THE ptoblem is that when these corchless teams interview a candidate their number one question is likely to be what plan do you have to beat Satan. How's that for "no pressure"

That's the question that got them into all this trouble in the first place.
