I grew up in Olympia Heights and attended Tropical Elementary and then Riviera Junior High. Pedro went to Rockway and Coral Park. He used to work at the McD's on Bird (the old one, not the one across from Tropical Park).

the one on bird and 83rd avenue, where the totalbank is (or was)(probably city national bank now)? i went to that mcdonald's all of the time. i grew up on 84the avenue right to the north, and then we moved to 83rd avenue right to the south on 42 street. i remember pedro from westchester, from tropical park and coral park/southwest dance parties. he was one of us, one of us that made it to the pinnacle of his profession. i am still heart broken.
