OT: RIP John Havilchek

I will never forget this play against the 76ers with 8 seconds left:
""Greer putting the ball in play," Most said. "He gets it out deep and Havlicek steals it! Over to Sam Jones! Havlicek stole the ball! It's all over!"

One of the GOATS. I got to see him play on those great Celtic teams against the Sixers in Philly. Russell vs Chamberlain, the whole deal.A HOFer coming off the bench. Hondo never ever stopped moving on the basketball floor, perpetual motion. He could play the game.

John Joseph "Hondo" Havlicek (F/G) was without question one of the greatest Boston Celtics players of all time. In fact, in my opinion, John was in the top 100 greatest NBA players of all time. His games with teammates Sam Jones, K C Jones, Bill Russell, Don Nelson, Kevin McHale, Dave Cowens, etc. were some of the most exciting of all time (especially during playoff time). A player with incredible stamina, persistence and constant movement, as well as a great shooter. RIP John! God bless him and his family!

Agree. If my memory serves me correctly. I think Jo-Jo White was also part of some of those teams.
