Ppl don't understand, my G. thats what we grew up on. Alex Trebek, Fred Rogers, Bob Barker and Bob Ross. I learned a lot from that site. Learned things NO SCHOOL would teach you. Man, this one sad, my childhood almost gone.

Facts! Matter of fact, my teacher used to put me in detention when I fact checked her on World History. Lol. Jeopardy really had ur boy right, and Alex was really bout that life. He wasn’t just some TV personality. Dude was legit smart but was gracious w it.

Sad day; now we got dumb *** game shows that have no substance.

RIP. A legend in his own right. Would watch this show every night with my parents as a kid.
I'd watch it with my grandmother every chance I got. She would have won every **** episode. She sorta freaked me out when she'd start speaking Latin because she "learned a little in school". Great, great memories.

The way he would lightly roast the contestants if their personal anecdotes were dumb, or if they couldn't answer questions about sports was legendary.

My favorite Trebek story though, is from Ken Jennings - during his win streak, Alex asked him during the personal story part of the show how it felt to be a millionaire. Ken kinda sarcastically answered "I don't know yet, Alex, you guys don't pay out until 60-90 days after I'm done with the show." So offstage, Alex wrote Ken a check for a million dollars, and they reshot the scene just so Ken would actually have to answer the question.
