Thought this was quite interesting: Zach Smith, former WR coach at Ohio State talks about some of the legal "dirty" tricks SEC schools/boosters do to get some top level recruits especially in South Florida.

Summary:
- SEC have the biggest and "friendliest" boosters as it "just means more"
- A common legal tactic boosters use across the country and especially at SEC schools is pay High school coaches of top prospects to come to their camp and give a speech. They could then pay that coach any amount of money for said speech. (basically buying the coaches)
- Says this is pinnacle South Florida
- Go into a coaches office in South Florida and they got plaques from all the awards and money they receive from these coaches for bringing their players over to "visit"
- Spoke about how Torrance Gibson wanted to go to Tennessee to visit because he heard their boosters were really "nice"
- Couldn't get there so they had a fan drive from Orlando to Miami and then drop him off in Knoxville (this was against the rules)
- He didn't have a ride back and Tennessee coaches were freaking out
- Ended up staying a week and a half on campus (against rules)
- Until a booster, possibly, paid for a flight back down to Ft. Lauderdale (against rules)
- Tennessee would then cut off all communication with Torrance and stop recruiting him because they knew if they signed him this would come out and give them sanctions.

Tell us about Sony Michael, Dalvin Cook, Patrick Peterson, Amari Cooper, Jerry Jeudy, Calvin Ridley, Tyson Campbell's recruitment
All shady recruitments.....thank goodness we don't have to go through this again. It sucks it was allowed and those teams built legacies through their NFL success. Sucks man that we were in the gutter for so long.

Nothing new and the tip of the iceberg. I do miss the good old days though when people were trying to say bags had nothing to do with it and we were losing guys to Bama cause Saban sent more text emojis to recruits.
It’s also not all bags
