Lived there for 20 years. If you're into good ole southern food try Bea's Restaurant on Dodds Avenue. You'll seat at a revolving table with other people and get"All you can eat" southern fried chicken, BBQ pork, plenty of vegetables, hot piping rolls, fruit cobbler, etc., etc. for about $12. The place has been there for about 100 years. Waitresses just keep the food coming!! Also Griffin's hot dogs has killer hot dogs and has been there for many many years. Eritha Frankenstein in downtown area has great breakfasts; Champy's is good for fried chicken; J Alexander at Hamilton Place Mall is good also. It's definitely a different place. Very family oriented. Have fun!!Ideas? I've taken my kids to see ruby falls in Chatanooga and have a hotel right near the aquarium. Anyone from this area, or with knowledge of the area that can recommend some great places to eat and/or visit?
I'm from PA & anytime I go to the south the first thing I do is find out where the nearest cookout is. Can't be beat.Cook Out
