Very interesting listen. The guy knows his crap and I believe that Simpson is following in his footsteps as afar as philosophies go. Can’t wait to see how the DL performs versus last year AND versus how Bama does this year also. Me hi is we’ll end up with the better line when it’s all said and done.

Why do you believe Simpson is following up on his philosophy? Just curious

I found this to be pretty interesting, maybe some of you will too. Seems like Miami has a similar philosophy.



Outstanding so true , hips, quads and ankles all tied in for power explosiveness, for linemen and basically most positions the secrete is.

Heavy and light day of squats and bench squats (you come off the rack and sit on a bench relax and explode up) tremendous exercise for ultimate power off the ball.

Protecting and not losing your gap integrity is extremely important whether you're playing the 4-3 in football .....or whether you're incarcerated here or overseas.

Either way, losing your gap integrity is a real ****** deal
