OT: Pats vs. Fins

Phins got one of these upsets in them every year. Don’t fall for it.

We beat the Falcons, destroyed the Broncos who are loaded on D, are going to beat the Pats, and we’re a 10 win team without guys we have this year on the team. Really think we finally got things right once Tannehill comes back.

The problem is we won’t ever win it all with tanny. We will always be a borderline playoff team maybe even the second round but no further.

I watched Joe Flacco, Rex Grossman, and Colin Kaepernick play in a Super Bowl. We have a top 5 receiving core, what looks like a great all around feature back, and a Defense that’s aggressive with a lot of room to grow. If we can play like that with Cutler than Tanny can double it.

I didnt realize until they posted that graphic last night Brady has a career losing record on the road at the dolphins at 7-9, I never would have guessed that the way the pats have dominated that division since the early 2000's

We better draft a tight end in the offseason. I wasnt thrilled with the Julius signing but hes been worse then I ever could have imagined.

And don’t forget the pats are without their top two offensive players, top two dL, top two or maybe even three LBs, third string OT. They are pretty banged up. Though the dolphins definitely had a whole lot more effort last night. And I agree Drake looks legit.

Nothing, two of that crew could be 1,000 yard receivers, one of them is already a 2x pro bowler, and the fourth receiver is Jakeem Grant who toasted a pro bowl CB for a good portion of the game...though he needs to pull in balls like that vert route he ran. Again, name 5 teams with a better lineup.

To be a top WR corp in the NFL, you need a legit #1 . Everyone have "OK" 2, 3, 4. #1 is what sets you apart in the League.

Pitt, NO, Detroit, Seattle, LAC, Oakland, Houston, Atlanta, etc. .... All have elite #1 WR.... automatically better than the Dolphins. Just look at passing stats for those teams.

Jay Cutler's numbers are pretty much on par with the average Tannehill season. He's a little bit better at throwing TDs, a little worse at throwing INTs. YPA is lower but also a full yard lower than his own career number.

Dolphins don't have a true #1 receiver but they have a complete group that all do different things and compliment each other. Like, put the Dolphins WR group on the Pats, Saints, Packers, etc and you would think of them all differently. Jarvis Landry is like Wes Welker on crack. Stills is a true home run hitter and Devante when he's right, is a jack of all trades.

Marvin Jones and Golden Tate are better than Landry and Stills. Keenan Allen and one of the 3 other WRs, any one you want are better than Landry and Stills. The production speaks for itself. ****, man, Dolphin fans are a special breed.

No way man, he and Fasano. Top 5 TE tandem in the NFL. I heard Joe Rose is coming out of retirement for additional depth.

Fins need to draft a QB to challenge Tannehill, but I doubt they do that. I just don't trust the guy seeing that he's gonna be 30+, has a nagging knee injury, and has never really been anything special. Sure, he's been better than a lot of the garbage we've seen since Marino retired, but the god complex he gets from a lot of Fins fans greatly puzzles me.

I'd like to see them really shoot for the moon, and trade for Andrew Luck, and cut Tannehill. Draft a couple of guards while you're at it.
