OT-Paterno Movie

I watched it with a family memeber who is staying with us and loves that old man. Amazing how his supporters do not see the massive pride he took in his god like status. They think his mafia style donations to the school were something special when it is an evryday tactic of so many brutal animals. I agree that the movie turned the light on how trashy PSU is as an institution and it’s students are. But we already knew that first hand. By the way, I think JJ’s graduation rate was in the 70’s and he did it without molesting children. Imagine that.

That was a great movie. Lot of range of emotions in that movie. I agree Paterno should have been fired, but I think after 61 years, he deserved to be looked in the eye and be let go. Thought that was kind of ****ed up to fire him like that, but he needed to be done tho. I forgot those ****ers were rioting lmao.. Wow!

We probably agree with that, and that's something that would have to be proved in the court of law. So who knows what direction that would have went. but he still deserved to be looked in the eye and be told to hit the road, instead of having a secretary call him to say he's been fired. That's some coward ****, when everybody had their hands dirty in that situation. From top to bottom, from the President to the Boosters that heard about it as a rumor.

dude was like 86 years old when everything went down, so he probably was oblivious to the seriousness of what was going on. But what about the DA office that knew about it since the 90's. That's the real story!

Sorry but being 86 years old is NO excuse.

Even people in their 90's with dementia know that having *** with little boys is wrong

Joe Pa & the DA were just more concerned with protecting his "legacy" .....than protecting or getting justice for those abused boys

He was 86 at the end.

But he knew about it dating back to 1978!!!

And again in 1998....and 2000....and he did nothing.

Place is a cesspool. The irony is won a single title but act like they are some great proud football program.

There’s a lot to say here and just don’t have time now.

Sad part is it’s a fine academic institution, maybe not quite the level of UVA or a Berkeley, of course, but in the second tier of what are called the public ivies, yet there is still a cult with many alumni for that old fool.

I’ll say more later maybe.

It shows u the disease around college football....(didnt watch it).........win at all costs no matter who gets hurt is what most if not every school goes by. That paper blinds people man.
