Good analysis and glad I posted, although I prob couldve wiped my *** with that hundo and it would've been less boring.

Pats did just what they did to KC old school TOP get them tired out of rhythm and boom 6 titles.
 
That game shows what brilliant coaching does. Absolute genius on both sides of the ball for the Pats. I for one had had Pats and the under. So that was nice.

1. Brady was almost beautifully baited into a bad INT in the first half when the Rams faked an inside LB blitz and dropped the LB directly into a quick in the Pats often throw. Part of what people don't give Brady enough credit for is avoiding these type of plays by processing info just that much faster than most. It's part prep; part mental ability. Had he thrown that ball, who knows if it's a pick-6 and changes something in the game.

2. I hadn't read this post/thread till now (after the game), and of course didn't expect 16 total points, but did expect an Under and bet that way. Lucky for that because I got ripped to shreds on many of the fun prop bets we like to take during the SB.

I'm not taking anything away from belichick but dont act like his coaching was so masterful in this game. The rams sabotaged themselves from so many different perspectives. You have a 6-3 240 lb. Running back you refuse to use no matter the occasion while your qb is clearly shook. Did nothing to set up play action & took nothing underneath when the defense is dropping the backers into coverage on virtually every down. On defense the most basic adjustment would've been cheat a safety into the box & sub out a backer for another db to help the boundaries with edleman. Not like they had any deep threat so why you stop either blitzing heavy when that was clearly working and they weren't playing in the box either so it was really confusing why they left in lbers who struggled in coverage period

If you do that the Pats just go I formation and start bulldozing you up the middle or crush you with screens.

A safety in the box accounts for that. Obviously they'll counter as any well coached staff should but it takes away multiple options they were burning them with

Actually did very well. Can't take all the credit @Ecush talked me into putting aside my disdain for New England . I placed a parlay NE -2.5 and the under and I hit the Gronkowski over 54.5 yards . I was kicking myself for having forgotten to place the bet on the over for the sacks you suggested .

Yes indeed.

Belichik also threw another wrench into it by going zone defense the whole game when they played man for the most part in every game prior.

It is just very difficult for a team to prepare offensively for something when they have not seen much of the opposition defense on film and in their tendencies.

Commercials sucked this year too. Except for the Bud Light G.O.T. commercial of course.
