OT: Other college games

Near the end of the 3rd Q of Bama vs Louisville. PS2 face masked one of their WRs and the WR tossed his *** after the play. Anyone else see it? It was hilarious.

Bama’s def is suspect this yr. Their offense looks better. Won’t say great b/c UL missed some int opportunities and ****ed poor tackling. But the middle of the field was wide open all game and the ball was hanging in the air for too long on seam routes

Also; time to slow the role on Harbaugh. Maybe McCaffrey can bail him out, but for all those calling him an elite coach, let’s slow that down. Finally, for all those who r saying we don’t need to recruit a QB, grad transfers...for every Will Greer (who plays in a weak B12 league) there’s a Patterson. I prefer a home grown talent, honestly.

The B1G is overate AF again this year. People were talking about how the B1G east is BY FAR the best divison in football. OSU is elite. Michigan got stomped by an overated ND. They only lost by 1 TD, but they were dominated all game and only really scored on the lucky 75 yarder and then again with 2 minutes left and ND already knew the game was over. Penn State went to OT with a trash App state team and MSU was 1 minute away from going to OT with Utah State. Some websites were saying the B1G east had 4 playoff contenders before this week.

Couple updates on former Canes.

Tyre Brady had 9 catches, 116 yards 2 TDs, including 2 ridiculous grabs in Marshall's win at Miami(OH). He got 3 PI calls on DBs as well, was getting mauled all day. He's really improved his hands. Barring injury, he will get drafted.

Juwon Young had 4 tackles from his new DE spot, including a 4th down stop.

Auburn looks like they are going to be tough to beat. Especially if they improve from week to week.
Washington should roll the rest of the year.
OU has so much talent and an offensive system that is solid. Can WV be their only potential stumbling block?
Texas is overrated as is their coach.
Bama is Bama.
Big 10 will beat up on each other.
Clemson is Clemson.
Michigan was overrated. Notre Dame is also overrated.
I don't see 7 teams better than Miami. Then again I have not seem Miami play yet so maybe i should stop there.

I agree...defense is still good... Jusy not sure they will be as great as the past couple. If they lose its going to have to be a high scoring game

There needs to be a ‘neutral site game’ on the west coast. PAC12 team versus a team from one of the other P5 conferences. I’ll wager not many teams would go for it. Not that their scared of a PAC12 team but why give up a built-in advantage?

They would go if the money was right and that's what all these neutral site games are about. It isn't coincidence that they're at the newer "fancy" venues. They can charge higher rates, the teams make more money, and it's a marketing took with recruiting even. The stadiums also bring teams that are relevant and typically hedge their bet with one of the teams being from relatively close.

Who the **** is the Jeshaun Jones guy? From Ft.Meyers? Dude looks good

My old high school, Charlotte (Punta Gorda) played them in the spring in 2016. Jones was a junior, didnt stand out too much, caught a 38 yard TD in their loss to us. The next year he was listed as one of the Top 15 players in Lee County. Lots of skills as he showed and an impact player. We didn't play them regular season. They made the playoffs and got Poll-axed by Venice (Cane's Center Ty Gauthier's HS team, the year after he graduated) and we ended up in the 6A semi-final against that great Caroll City team that won it.

What I remember most about that '16 spring game, was there was a pretty ugly incident that 20 or more South Ft Myers football players were involved in, that made national news (not syaing Jones was part of it, don;t know). The coach decided not to discipline any of the players and let them all play. Didn't help. We had a few pretty good kids too. Willaims for Arkansas (3 carries for 17 yards yesterday), Price for FIU (2 carries for 21 yds), Hicks (our QB and CB who covered him) is at App State, and a few more.

LOL. The nasty incident was a bunch of players banged some chick in the hallway of the school. This type of **** happens at every big HS.

Why didn’t CMR go after Will Grier? Why?

The experts here weren't impressed with his AA game showing and combined with his UF pledge, he was worthless. Smart people saw his potential, there were only a few of us. He was suspended for a year and left of I remember correctly for PED's. He should've seen the field ahead of those they had his one lone year though.

He was suspended for taking a bulking supplement not PEDs...whatever idiot trainer he was working with probably didn’t check what it contained. I was banging the table to get him when he was transferring. Probably cost us a realistic title chance this year.

Well, I'm glad he left regardless. Then again, they probably would've figured out a way to ***** his game up. For the record, I thought McElTooth would be great for their offense, boy was I wrong there. Might be a different story had he stuck around. Gotta admit when you're wrong and so far I am.
